Anonymous feedback and honest feedback can both be true. We see that with ICE, Command Climate Surveys, and the recent Unaccompanied Housing Survey — all anonymous. If you dismiss anonymous feedback as dishonest, then you’d have to dismiss those mechanisms too. Yes, Hots&Cots is anonymous, but we’ve built ways for leaders to engage directly through our leadership dashboard. I’ve personally spoken with reviewers who are willing to engage with leadership when given the chance. Service members come to Hots&Cots because traditional means of getting issues addressed are broken. I get the feeling from SMA that Hots&Cots is being viewed as trying to make the Army look bad — that couldn’t be further from the truth. We’ve spent countless hours meeting with leaders across the force, on our own dime and time, to advocate for Soldiers living in the barracks. We all want the same thing — a great dining experience. Whether feedback comes with a name attached or not, it still reflects real experiences. The goal should be to listen, not to filter out voices based on how they’re shared. As I’ve always said I’m ready to give SMA’s team a verified account

Last week-end I built a watercolor simulator based on real physics (as much as possible). A lot of you asked to play with it so i improved it and it's now live. New since the prototype: - More pigments (52), based on the best research out there to predict color mixes (Kubelka-Munk). - More luminous / glassy feel - Some fun experimental stuff like the salt and alcohol techniques to alter the texture, a backlight effect and a few more. - I also added a Code mode where the simulator prints its real function calls next to the sheet while you paint 🤓♥️ It's still largely based on the same physics model as my prototype: Curtis et al.'s "Computer-Generated Watercolor". All in the browser. Current status: building and implementing a kid-friendly version for Marble App. Plenty of awesome things to learn with watercolor painting!

I tested out Cyberpunk 2077 Path Tracing turned on with RX 9070 XT now that FSR Redstone is out. By using the new FSR Redstone and FSR ML Based Frame-Gen, the game reaches up to 130FPS in 1440p with FSR set to Performance Mode. The performance gains are not that much higher compared to the previous versions of FSR but the image quality got a huge upgrade, especially when using Frame-Gen. This ML based Frame Gen is much better than the previous version as it gets rid of most artifacts and ghosting caused by the previous version. If for some reason you always wanted to play Cyberpunk 2077 with Path Tracing turned on on an AMD GPU, now you can enjoy a playable experience with 100+ FPS on an RX 9070 XT. I still don't recommend it though as the frame pacing and input lag still feels off for me, I'd just rather play this without Frame Gen and Path Tracing. I'm going to test out Black Myth: Wukong next

Today we opened our 4th Midwest Basketball Training location in Rogers! We are SO incredibly thankful for the support as we nearly sold out our entire Grand Opening week in 1 day. Shout out to our Full Time staff Aaron, Ian, Evan and Trevor along with our countless PT staff pouring into players helping them build confidence and get 1% better each and every night! I’ve put a lot on our team the past 3 years and they always find ways to step up! I LOVE our TEAM! We will continue to find ways to improve and keep our foot on the gas pedal. Shout out to Natalie Freeman because without her this doesn’t happen, our date nights have turned to work nights (I have one planned in December I promise) but fortunate to do life with my best friend! Thankful for all the mentors, past teachers, leaders and awesome people we get to do life with. We have an incredible platform to impact young people on and off the floor and excited to see what God has in store for us moving forward! Find something you love and go after it with everything you got. Dream Big. Work Hard. 📈

In Q1 Robinhood shipped some incredible products and features. Last week at the #RobinhoodPresents: The Lost City of Gold, we announced three products that will change the way we think about money.
