It saddens me that our #Sikh brothers have to show their love for #India today. I have grown up with the Sikh community in Delhi, we have attended each other's marriages, funerals & visited Temples & Gurdwaras together. No one can or will ever break us! ❤️ #Khalistan #Punjab

Andy Burnham I hope you find some time to look into why labour MPs like Jas Athwal MP are seemingly inviting Reform deputy leader to a Sikh event in parliament to discuss hate crimes against the sikh community. Its actually pretty diabolical considering the SAME community are blaming Reform for the hate created. Shame on you too Sikh Federation (UK) Something majorly dodgy going on here.

Yesterday, I travelled to Coventry to speak with the Sikh community. Children in the Sikh community have been targeted for decades by Muslim rape gangs. As I’m now working on the Rape Gang Inquiry, I’ve encouraged them to engage and have their voices heard. The Rape Gang Inquiry

Most Punjabi Hindus have deep respect for Sikhi, but the Hindu-Sikh divide was largely manufactured in the 1980s through state propaganda. Many of Bollywood’s influential families are Punjabi Hindu Khatris, reflecting how deeply intertwined Punjabi Hindu & Sikh have always been.

Swarnjit Singh, the new Sikh mayor of Norwich, Connecticut, flies the Sikh flag in his office and plans 53 “cultural days” in 2026, including celebrations for Sikh gurus. He also has a "1984 Sikh genocide memorial" in the office of a town that has absolutely nothing to do with it. Comments one local: "This is exactly the type of person that should have never been granted citizenship. He has not assimilated nor does he appear to want to assimilate. He should be denaturalized and deported." But how did Norwich, a city with just 10 Sikh families and a 60% white majority, elect a person who can barely speak English and wants to prioritize foreign religious holidays over American traditions? The CIA has been weaponising Sikh separatists against India since the 1970s and Swarnjit Singh's election could be part of that gameplan.

This month, as we remember the 1984 Sikh genocide – let 40 years be marked by new meaning. Let it be a year of healing, justice and truth by recognizing the crimes of the Indian government as Genocide. This November the NDP will seek official recognition of the 1984 Sikh Genocide in Canadian Parliament.

Hopefully all UK politicians on all sides watched or will watch Dabinderjit Singh speak with Sophy Ridge and Wilfred Frost this morning on Sky News so eloquently about a very difficult and challenging issue with the tragic death of Henry Novak. Politicians need to learn from Dabinderjit Singh and recognise the Sikh community has acted impeccably throughout and back the public inquiry suggested by the Sikh Federation (UK) as the police, Crown Prosecution Service and the courts have failed Henry Novak and the Sikh community. Many politicians that have met, know and worked with Dabinderjit Singh have never failed to be impressed by his in-depth knowledge, experience and the ability to connect through excellent communication skills. Civil servants need to engage with the new leadership of Sikh Federation (UK) to deal with Anti-Sikh hate (it will be 25 years since 9/11 in a few months), a statutory Code of Practice on the Sikh articles of faith (that is desperately needed due to ignorance) that was raised by Rob Marris MP in 2005, more than 20 years ago with a Labour Government Minister.

#Gaza Please be alert for fake Sikh IDs used by Indian trolls to make anti #Gaza comments. This is purely to portray the Sikh community in negative light in the Muslim world. Almost all Sikhs I know are deeply upset & horrified by the deaths of 30,000 Palestinians in Gaza

Where is the outrage?! If the victims were white and the suspect Brown there would be riots. And don't lie to me otherwise!! Sikh woman is dead and the 2nd victim was ALSO Indian/sikh I've now had it confirmed by sources in the community A Sikh woman is dead. Murdered in her own bed laying next to her baby!!! YET Metropolitan Police say this isn't being treated as a hate crime. Why are Sikhs expected to accept less scrutiny, fewer questions and less outrage? Our community deserves the same urgency and transparency as everyone else. The Sikh community should not feel like second-class citizens when seeking answers after such a horrific attack.

I have known about Vishavjit Singh for a decade & now being a part of the American Sikh family, I feel inspired more than ever to write this post in celebration of our community. For me, this movie is about change. Change in perspective and change in society. We strive to create a more inclusive society, we speak a lot about celebrating diversity…..but every dream requires action. For me THE DREAM would be watching Vishavjit Singh at the 97th Academy Awards. He would be the first Sikh with a turban & beard to walk up the steps in history. Those steps represent honoring the work of our ancestors and pride and inspiration for our next generation. Every generation has fought for their freedom and it’s on our generation to create the path for the next. This is for every Sikh, every person of color, and anyone who’s ever felt lesser than. To our collective dream, AMERICAN SIKH. Thank you Asia Society for being the pillar of diversity. Thank you everyone for a houseful screening. A sikh woman was horrifically raped in her own home in a racially/religiously motivated attack. This was the 2nd rape of a sikh woman in months. Yet no one called for the banning of the Tommy Robinson hate marches, even though sikh woman felt too scared to walk outside anymore and carried alarms. If you ban one march- then you ban ALL marches. I absolutely stand with the Jewish community. I dont want them to feel afraid walking the streets as much as any marginalised community including my own.

🚨After Henry Nowak was brutally murdered by Sikh Vikram Digwa, a disgusting human named Bobby Singh — who I presume is also Sikh — has gone online and asked if he should piss or sh*t on the grave of Henry Nowak. This does nothing to help the Sikh community which has by and large always assimilated into British culture and contributed to society. I have friends in Britain who are Sikh and some of the best people you could know so this really irritates me when one asshole goes online and fuels further animosity towards his own community. Don’t strike a match near the powder keg, dumbass.
