So apparently Amber Rose Amber Rose is too dirty for us ‘holy & pure’ Christians/Conservatives? We as Conservatives & Christians did nothing for 60 years while the left took over this country. Now the country is VERY different & we only have OURSELVES to blame. This is no longer the 90’s. We are not going to save this country from the hell we have allowed it to descend into by shutting out the very people we failed to disciple as we are called to do. So please.. this is not a time to be Pharisees. Christ reached out to prostitutes & sinners.. people who the Pharisees saw as “too filthy” but it was through Christ’s love & revelation of the truth that they came to repentance. Many people in the last 6 years are on a journey of awakening & our job is to welcome these people into the light of truth & guide them into deeper truth. Not condemning them & shutting them out because they are not as Holy as we think we are. Remember the Bible says all our holiness is like filthy rags to God, it is only by faith, HIS grace & GIFT of Christ are we are righteous.

And even outside the industry, we have other groups of friends as well. So I feel like… if someone doesn’t understand this, maybe they should try having a friend. If somebody is behaving in an ignorant way, if somebody does not respect other people, that is not a limitation of yours. That is a limitation of the person who is doing it. I get attacked quite a lot. You must have seen my opponents attack me. I don’t take what they say seriously. They have a particular anger, they have a particular frustration, so they are taking out their frustration. In the same way, when somebody attacks you, maybe body-shames you, they are taking out their frustrations. It has nothing to do with you. They are not happy with their situation. They are uncomfortable, so they try to find somebody to disturb. So I don’t take it seriously. India has many different religions, many different cultures, many different languages. I asked the girls today - they learn Tamil, they learn English, they learn Hindi, they learn Malayalam. So we have multiple languages, different religions, and different ideas, and we should respect all of them. You are perfectly within your rights to choose a language, to choose a religion. You are not within your rights to threaten someone because you don’t like the language they speak, or attack someone because you don’t like their religion, or because you don’t like where they come from. Friends, for this Thirtieth Sunday of Ordinary Time, we are treated to the wonderful and deeply challenging parable of the Pharisee and the publican from Luke 18. We are meant to see in this deceptively simple story a basic and clarifying principle in the spiritual order—namely, that the ego is meant to revolve around God, not God around the ego. And this might not be immediately clear: Sometimes the people that look the most religious actually aren’t very religious, and the people that look a million miles from God are actually in the right spiritual space.

An incredible strength in what it does to protect the freedoms and rights of its people. Oh, there's great strength in that. And it is very fragile. It is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it. And so that's the moment we're in. And I say do not despair because in a democracy, as long as we can keep it, in our democracy the people, every individual has the power to make a decision about what this will be. And so let's not feel powerless. Because then we have been defeated. And that's not our character as the American people. We are not one to be defeated. We rise to a moment and we stand on broad shoulders of people who have fought this fight before for our country. And in many ways let us look at the challenge then that we are being presented and not be overwhelmed by it. The baton is now in our hands, to fight for, not against, but for this country we love.
