Excuse me sir… Ahem… What actual congressional Law or U.S. Code defines what cryptocurrency is & how cryptocurrency & XRP should be taxed? The overturning of Chevron Deference… As Of June 28, 2024… Federal agencies no longer have the power to interpret ambiguous laws to fit their narrative… Agencies like the IRS & the SEC … Do not have the power to create law or interpret law to fit their narratives, especially now with the overturning of the “Chevron Deference” by the Supreme Court… this gives the power back to the Supreme court & other Federal courts to interpret the law. The federal courts for the past forty years allowed Federal Agencies to determine how to interpret laws for themselves. as of June 28th 2024 the supreme court decision now revokes the power from Federal Agencies to determine and interpret the laws for themselves.

Isn’t cryto currency a currency? So doesn’t that mean it’s not tax? It’s like I’m going to Europe and exchanged usd to euro. We don’t get taxed for that …. Correct me if I’m wrong please

I don’t have a crystal ball. But if I had to guess governments in the future will offer tax-free benefits when selling BTC so they can add it to their reserve.

trying to push this through at the end of the year when people enjoy their holidays and spend time with their family is evil.

It’s obviously a trap. The IRS is asking you to report how many eggs your chickens lay each day, claiming they need this information to determine the appropriate cage size for when the eggs hatch. However, each chicken requires its own cage, and you’ll be responsible for the costs associated with maintaining these cages until the chickens pass away. Funny!!
