In 2021, Rachel Reeves said that "private schools are not charities" and that a Labour government would scrap their charitable status. "That is what a Labour government will do", she said. Except, it won't do that.

I see Starmer's fans are outraged once again that I'm pointing out another one of Starmer's lies. Here's Starmer's promise from 2022. It's pretty clear. He lied about it, he never meant it. Now the pledge has been dumped.

Another u-turn flip flop, what is the point of making all these pledges, if they are going to be scrapped long before an election is announced. A. Posturing for votes B. Not a serious policy

Yes Kier we all know why they "work hard" for it. To consolidate generational wealth/status and perpetuate existing inequalities. There used to be a party that stood for the very opposite of that ethos. I'm sure they began with an "L" or something.

What does this man even stand for vs the government we currently have? I've never been less enthused at a voting proposition in my entire life.

He’s going to loose this election, isn’t he?

Nah, voters want the Tories out and they'd vote for anybody wearing a red rosette at this point. I don't like him, but he is going to win.

So Starmerites. An alternative to the tories is it? Labour, having u turned on private education itself have now ditched the charity status aspect as well. You must be so proud.

Apparently my parents didn't work hard enough to send me to private school. As a parent now, I will simply work hard to send my kids to private school.

He really is taking voters for fools. I remember Johnson being described as dissembling and deceitful, I'm struggling to see a difference between Johnson and Starmer?
