marathon went from "what if we made a destiny pvp game" to "what if we made an apex 2"

That does not, at all, look appealing. Who's the target audience for that? Just watching the clip is giving me visual fatigue with the color palette choice.

This looks kinda mid. The environment feels like some forgettable Splitgate 2. Bungie usually takes us on much more of a journey like Destiny. Not to mention the inventory...

Gameplay may be good, but I really hate the visuals.

Despite all its issues, watching the Dev Diary is what made me not want to play this game. That level of cringe is characteristic of the type of games that disappointment or aren't very fun
