Dallas Police released new details and video from an incident that occurred on May 30 near Interstate 35 and Illinois Avenue. According to investigators, 37-year-old Stacey Huffman was arrested during a traffic stop in the 2300 block of South Marsalis Avenue on charges including Driving While License Invalid, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Police say Huffman was handcuffed and placed in the back of a patrol vehicle but managed to free one of his hands. When officers stopped on northbound I-35 to restrain him, Huffman allegedly climbed into the driver’s seat and drove away while Officer Kenneth Harper was still inside the squad car. During the struggle, a Taser deployment was unsuccessful, and Harper was reportedly thrown around the vehicle as Huffman drove erratically. Investigators say Huffman eventually exited the moving patrol car after traveling about 1,000 feet at speeds reaching approximately 50 mph. End Game is a brand new PvE experience coming to Call of Duty Black Ops 7 that allows 1-32 players to infilitrate Avalon to complete various objectives and missions to level up their character and gain more powerful abilities. Each section of Avalon has a varying difficulty, meaning as the player gets stronger on their journey from level 1 to 60 in end game, they will constantly be gaining new abilities and skills to help them deal with more and more difficult areas. Treyarch really made it seem like this new End Game is meant to focus on the players power journey throughout it. If your whole squad dies, the character you are playing loses ALL progress, effectively being reset to level 0.

🚨 TWO DUI crashes. One weekend. Both into police cars. You can’t make this up. The first happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, when an unmarked patrol vehicle was parked on the shoulder of Airport Blvd finishing up a traffic stop. Out of nowhere, a driver plows right into the back of the patrol car. Investigators found numerous “truly hard” seltzers and other empty cans in the vehicle. And yes, the driver surprise, surprise, was truly arrested for DUI. Fast forward to 12:32 a.m. Sunday at a different location, same bad decision. Our officers were turning onto E. Mississippi from S. Chambers when they rear ended…by yet another drunk driver. Thankfully, all our officers are okay, though all were taken to the hospital for minor injuries and two had whiplash. Let’s be real: there’s nothing cool, funny, or excusable about driving under the influence. Call a ride, call a friend, walk, crawl do literally anything else, just don’t drive drunk. It’s not worth the risk. Because if you hit a patrol car, let’s be honest: that’s not “bad luck.” That’s bad judgment. These officers were lucky. Next time, it could be you, your friend, or someone’s family member.
