Amazingly, they also forgot how many outs there were earlier in the game too.

A’s paying the umps better than their players 💀

umpires work for Valve

If the baserunner leaves the field, isn’t that an out?

If the runner at first was paying attention and had some baseball IQ, he should’ve kept running the bases and got to homeplate.

Won’t be the last time MLB glitches 😂

The thing that blows my mind is that there were only 3 batters and 1 of them was on first, AND they had to have a discussion about it. Usually if something like this happens, it’s because is a long inning.

Don't give Manfred any ideas.

Did it speed up the game? Then I don’t see a problem with it

Bill Miller apparently finishes the seasons strong 😂

i mean if we're gonna change the game, go for it

Baseball is hard.

I like this rule, if you can’t score with 2 outs then you probably won’t be able to score with 3, no need to waste any more time

That’s just embarrassing for everyone involved

But we worried about bat boys and gals being efficient….

how does this happen in the highest level of baseball

I literally had to watch the video to make sure this wasn't a new rule. This is porn to Manfred.

Doesn’t every ump have an indicator? WTH are we even doing?

Why does ump have to check

@NWKMF @biblulz never seen that

Remind me NOT to play golf with any of the A’s ball players.

Did the guy on first run around the bases?? Easy run there

That's one way to speed the game up.

Going to be a long season in Oaktown…

These are the assholes enforcing the new rules. None of which would be necessary if any of them did their jobs. Ruinous.

Oh boy! If they'd have had a runner on, this could have gotten pretty weird.

Well a spring training game in Oakland, do we need all 27 outs anyways?

A’s already in mid season form

So, did they finally correct it and have the A's go back out to finish getting the third out?

M'kay, this will work
