The UAE is putting a rush order on a $3 billion pipeline to Fujairah - completion target mid - 2027. Iraq is working with American companies on pipelines to Turkey and Syria. The State Department just hailed the Iraq - Syria pipeline as a "priority infrastructure project." If all these projects succeed, analysts estimate they could divert almost 60 percent of the oil that normally flows through Hormuz. Sixty percent. That's Iran's leverage disappearing. Kuwait and Bahrain have fewer options but are exploring connections to Saudi and UAE networks. The one problem: Qatar's liquified natural gas has no good alternatives. Autonomous Region of Kurdistan - Slemani 2 drones were intercepted over the sky of Slemani governorate. 1 drone has been intercepted and crash landed around Tasluja, the other drone was intercepted at the vicinity of the military of the 70th unit of the Peshmerga. Thankfully no one was wounded or killed. This event follows a series of attacks against the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan and Kurdish provinces in Iraq. As of now, there is no official announcement about who the perpetrators were - it is however clear that these were Iranian made drones, heavily in use by the Hashd Al Shaabi (PMF) in Iraq. From previous attacks and given that the Turkmen factions within Iraq have staged large scale protests against the appointment of a Kurdish mayor for a Kurdish area (Pirde) - it is natural to assume that the faction which carried out this attack is a Turkmen faction of the Hashd al Shaabi; these factions have carried out drone attacks against Kurdistans energy infrastructure, especially in the PUK areas, before.

🚨 Strikes hit militant bases in Iraq’s Kurdistan region Airstrikes reportedly targeted facilities used by armed groups in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region early Thursday, according to Iraqi media. ▪️ Reports said bases and facilities in Sulaymaniyah province, in northeastern Iraq near the Iranian border, were struck in heavy overnight attacks. ▪️ The outlet Sabereen News posted videos showing explosions, smoke and fires rising from the targeted sites, claiming the strikes caused direct damage. ▪️ The groups targeted and the force responsible were not immediately confirmed. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said the 18th wave of its ongoing operation would strike targets in northern Iraq. The area hosts Iranian Kurdish opposition groups, which reports say could be used for potential cross-border operations into Iran. The IRGC and allied Iraqi Shiite militias have claimed responsibility for strikes in this area in past days.
