The bass is an Integral part of the original song, it's one of my all time bass lines, so this version didn't do much for me I'm afraid 😕

The removal of @peterhook is a joke. This is lifeless. Hooky doesn’t sing like Ian but his voice is far closer and you still have the same energy when him and The Light perform it. It seems most agree.

Totally a miss.

New Order closed their You Tube Theater and Darker Waves performances with Love Will Tear Us Apart in 2023. No other band inspires me to dance with moistened eyes like New Order. They will be headlining Cruel World 2025. If any of you sees an older guy with a FACT 10 hat and you love Joy Division+New Order give us a wave.
