The web was never meant to be flattened into text. Yet most web RAG systems start by parsing HTML --- a complex and lossy process. 🔥 Introducing PixelRAG: the first RAG system that retrieves and reads 30M+ web pages as pixels. Instead of extracting text, PixelRAG retrieves screenshots and lets a VLM read them directly. PixelRAG not only preserves visual information, but also outperforms text-based RAG on text-only QA benchmarks by +18.1%. Why? (1) HTML-to-text conversion often discards layout, structure, tables, and other useful signals. (2) We continued pretraining a VLM on web page screenshots and turned it into a surprisingly strong visual retriever. (3) Recent VLMs are remarkably good at understanding web pages, often with better accuracy and token efficiency than text-only pipelines. I added a Knowledge Graph to Cursor using MCP. You gotta see this working! Knowledge graphs are a game-changer for AI Agents, and this is one example of how you can take advantage of them. How this works: 1. Cursor connects to Graphiti's MCP Server. Graphiti is a very popular open-source Knowledge Graph library for AI agents. 2. Graphiti connects to Neo4j running locally. Now, every time I interact with Cursor, the information is synthesized and stored in the knowledge graph. In short, Cursor now "remembers" everything about our project. Huge! SceneScript treats 3D reconstruction as a language problem rather than a geometry one. The model watches a video of a room and just learns to write a script for it. It autoregressively spits out text commands like make_wall(...) or make_bbox(...) that define the scene. Stanford's new "Scene Language" paper goes a step further adding CLIP embeddings to capture visual appearance too. The fact that language models already understand spatial relationships well enough to write out scene graphs is pretty wild.
