The perk gives a 5% speed bonus for 10s after a basic attack, which typically runs out before you catch up unless it's a very hectic situation. Critically, using this perk completely disables Bloodlust!

STFBL (to catch up) and Forced Hesitation (for hook exchanges/slugging) seem to have stronger effects without the downside of losing Bloodlust. Is there a context or combination that makes Rapid Brutality worth using?

I'll try to find out if this perk can shine in some way, but personally I'm not a big fan of having SO MANY perks on both sides that alter movement speeds slightly and stack erratically. We'll see how it turns out!

Denying 2 seconds of distance might seem bad, but against a survivor who knows distances perfectly and uses distance to perfection to be as efficient as possible, this perk is very strong, you will cut good survivors off from loops they thought they’d make it to, very strong 👍

Yes, I thought so too! But think about it this way: what if at some point there's a moment where Bloodlust could've ended a chase sooner, but it's disabled because of this perk? With most other perks, you don't have to consider any risks like this. It'll be interesting... 🤔

5% movement speed on a hit for 10 seconds isn't worth bloodlust disabled. I feel this is a dead perk. Guess we'll see. So many more variables are in play in a match than this short example shows. Imo anyway.

That Nancy didn't even try to spin or run to a pallet or window. What kind of baby lobbies are you getting?? =p

I thought the same thing. I get that it's only 5% because it might be put on a 4.6 Killer, but it starts BEFORE the weapon wipe, effectively reducing the value innately. Either it needs a % increase or a duration increase to even be a niche perk.

Is this their response to MFT? Ok, I'll have to be biased for a minute as a killer main, at least this one is not only temporary, but it also removes BL which can get absurd sometimes, so this feels pretty balanced imo. Still, if this is a response to MFT instead of a nerf, LOL.

You still need to get the first hit, and this would only be good on people who don’t need BL, and they already have methods of slowing or catching up to survivors. It seems really redundant on 90% of the cast and bad on 10%
