Guessing app's PIN using Flipper Zero as #BadUSB This "App Locker" app protects access to user selected apps - in this case, Instagram - using PIN code. It is possible to guess it with unlimited attempts, because the app developers haven't implemented brute-force protection and even timeout after few incorrect entered passwords. The app only allows to set 4 digit PIN. This allows us to try 10,000 PINs with unlimited attempts. After every try is 0.5 second delay. Because of that, it would take us 84 minutes to rotate through all the PIN combinations. ✅If you decide to use such an app lock protector, make sure not to use easy to guess and common passwords. If you are a developer, I advise you to implement a brute-force protection that includes timeout. #FlipperZero #Android #bruteforce

Gemini for Android is here! This new app makes it easier to access Google's chatbot, powered by the Gemini Pro LLM, right from your Android device. You can ask Gemini a question by tapping the launcher icon or long-pressing the power button. Once invoked, the Gemini overlay lets you enter a text or text+image prompt. You can tap the camera icon to snap a photo or press the "add this screen" button to take a screenshot of the current page to include in your prompt. The Gemini app for Android is available on Google Play with support for English, but support for Korean and Japanese will be coming next week. While there won't be an app for iOS, iPhone users can access Gemini by opening the Google App and tapping the "Gemini" button up top. I know many people want Android Auto/Apple Car Play, and this gives the OPTION to use those with your Tesla, along with tons of other info. Recently, I discovered a campaign spreading via Telegram Mini Apps. In fact, a threat actor attempted to phish me using this tactic.👇 The technique is highly convincing because it involves a trust boundary violation in Telegram’s MiniApp SDK (affecting Android, Desktop, iOS, and Web versions). Telegram allows third-party code to use its trusted native UI through showPopup(), but it does so without clearly indicating the source to the user or providing safeguards against abuse. This constitutes a design weakness, as the triggered pop-up belongs to Telegram and can be used in an arbitrary manner. -The attacker misleads the user by leveraging Telegram’s own native UI component. -The popup is rendered outside the MiniApp iframe, within Telegram’s own UI layer. -The user perceives it as a legitimate warning from Telegram itself. -By placing a single button, the attacker can redirect the user to a phishing page. -Since the phishing page opens inside the Mini App, the phishing URL is not visibly exposed. After conducting detailed research, I simulated this attack and demonstrated it in the video below. Be cautious when opening Mini Apps in bots.

The next change mentioned in the last AMA on Discord is the addition of "Mention GPTs" and a more agent-like approach to GPTs This new feature allows you to inline tag any other custom GPT, which will then be displayed as "Talking to [Grimoire/custom GPT name]". This feature also enables using different GPTs in the same conversation, taking an agents-like approach (although it seems that this feature may not work properly yet). I held an extended meeting with the military. Among other topics, we discussed the military foundation for diplomacy — the next technical meeting. We are working to ensure it takes place as soon as possible. Ukraine’s interest is not to prolong the war, but to be prepared for any development. It is clear to the world that it is Russia’s fault the war is still ongoing. Ukraine is ready to take the fastest possible steps — for a real ceasefire and the establishment of a new security architecture. We are doing all the necessary groundwork on our side. What’s needed is a reciprocal readiness from Russia – and it’s not there now, and without global pressure, that will not change. We are doing our part to maintain that pressure, primarily through our defence and active operations. I thank all our warriors for their resilience and real results.
