so "the world is tribalizing" so it must be at absolute forefront you say Absolutely It must But it isn't "Uncle Fred" against "Uncle Ted" philosophically from which all your other conceptualizations spring I'm gonna write on this deeper But in a nutshell -> your conception of Fred AND Ted Is through the lens of Fred .. .. and the Fred lens misses ***UNCLE PLATO*** Uncle Fred - Nietzsche Sartre Foucault Marx Rousseau (etc) Uncle Plato - Plato Aristotle Thomas Aquinas Kant Kirkegaard Dante Alighieri Edmund Burke Stoicism (Judaism... Christianity... Islam... Hinduism... Confucianism...) (C.S Lewis !) (JRR Tolkien !!) (etc) ^Uncle Plato gets relegated to something it isn't from Uncle Fred's lens (jokey last 30-50 years Christianity for example...despite the rich thousands of years of staying power and intellectual rigor; on the ropes today, at best - subverted by the forces of Uncle Fred... ) Nutshell: Uncle Fred assumes "Relativism," Uncle Plato assumes "Objective Value" In the relativist will vs will game of the Ubermensch -> yep India Internet China place your bets !! In the reality of 'Objective Value' though, you support... **'THE GOOD'** What's 'The Good'? ... The Good is what Thomas Jefferson wrote about in the Declaration of Independence (channeling the full line of Uncle Plato) -> inalienable rights bestowed upon humans from a higher power, a place *we do not understand* yet are humbled to; a place most honest potent scientists understand we don't understand (check Einstein, Planck, Bohr etc deeply on religion... "when it comes to atoms, language can be used only as in poetry"...); from The Good comes a limited government formed by the people for the people to protect those inalienable bestowed rights as the best way to organize humans .. That ideal is worth upholding and steering towards; an objective ordering of nature that is Good and Love Yes you support America because you live there, but most importantly you support because *objectively* the Jeffersonian channeled widsom of human nature is the one to invest in -> it is the best conception for natural human thriving and love (contrast: I would not support North Korea if I lived there) By no means does Plato contest science and tech - they're natural partners; the wonderful scientific pursuit of deeper levels of understanding, understanding we never fully will yet ever deeper into wonder.. (but string theory! theory of everything! we almost know .. everything ! ..................) Not only has Uncle Fred not disproved Uncle Plato in a rationalistic sense, he has no alternative for a better way to organize humans; tribes? autocracy? Global Oligarchies? But this time w great intentions and better tech !? DAOS !!? Yeah nope! -> Medieval... *not progress* .. Governance type evolution someday absolutely but clearly the jeffersonian american republic conception is the best one; by far Yes DC's 30-50y decline is startingly stark; yes I love Ray Dalio's conception which suggests mostly intertia; But recognizing human agency 'The Good' and Uncle Plato the way forward is clear... contrasted vs the wishy washy could be this could be that may the best horse win actualized by Nietzsche's perspectivism .. Awakening to the line of Uncle Plato puts Uncle Fred in proper place Emerging as the best way forward is a conscious uniting of "the grey team" with everyone else in America that is outside the rotten controlling Uncle Fredean core (yes, this is currently led by Vivek, Trump, Tucker @TuckerCarlson, Elon, but also many others more quietly; this also represents 75% of the human beings in the country, whether they recognize their outsiderness or not.. most just scared.. see chart below) There's a way back for America Techno optimism x Jefferson & Uncle Plato is the best course for humanity @pmarca @BasedBeffJezos @VivekGRamaswamy (india and the internet winners too !! But most importantly -> authoritarians and marxism will roll back... ideas have consequences, more than anything, and Fred ideas are amongst the most wrong and bad in all of human history, insidiously now spread all over...) (another way to conceptualize this is humanists vs extinctionists (latter is Fred; former is Plato - that sounds accusatory but Fred's ideas end with extinctionism; @elonmusk ; @jordanbpeterson) (further: God wouldn't say don't accelerate (he was in your Fred lens Ted camp); he'd say accelerate in the name of Plato) A great somewhat short read on Uncle Plato and 'Objective Value:' Good approachable quick listen @BishopBarron:

@labenz This is a small start but likely the most decentralized AI network already. Consider running a node - it involves generating your keys, having a M1/M2 and installing the node software. Also connected to a ChatGPT-like UI. Permissionless in the future..
