[New Xbox Controller Review] #ad Special thanks to Qrdgame_offcial for supplying me with a review unit of their Ferrox M5 Xbox & PC Controller QRD Ferrox M5 The QRD Ferrox M5 is a Wireless Xbox One–style gamepad with a transparent design. Since it targets Xbox One natively, it works automatically on PC and Xbox Series S/X. The included 2.4Ghz USB Dongle also supports Switch and Android with the right adapter (USB C), but I was not able to test those in time for this review. A Wireless Xbox Controller The QRD FERROX M5 comes in a familiar Xbox layout with Hall Effect joysticks, RGB rings around the sticks, and a magnetic & detachable clear shell that shows the internals. The controller feels very similar to a standard Xbox pad in terms of shape and size, but it’s slightly lighter at compared to the usual Xbox controller weight. The lighter weight makes it easier to hold for longer sessions without hand fatigue. The D-Pad is surprisingly good at dialing special moves feels as solid and responsive as the official Xbox controller, and that’s impressive at a lower price point. I spent a few days trying out the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection exclusively using this controller and I did not notice any difference at all. Capabilities From what I’ve tested, the controller performs extremely well for action games, fighting games, and shooters. The Hall Effect joysticks offer smooth movement and precise control with no drift issues. The D-Pad uses micro switches, so every input is tactile and accurate. The back triggers support an adaptive “trigger stop” mode, which shortens the travel distance for faster reaction time in FPS games or quicker blocks in Fighting Games. You also get 4 back macro buttons, turbo mode, and adjustable joystick sensitivity with deadzone options. Vibration strength and RGB lighting modes are also customizable. What can it do The FERROX M5 includes an 800mAh battery that lasts around 8 hours of gameplay. It only uses the 2.4Ghz wireless connection, not Bluetooth, so it always requires the included USB Dongle. The good thing is once you sync it with your Xbox or PC, you don’t need to sync it again—it carries over between both devices automatically. The 2.4G connection is stable and low latency, and the controller has a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio and mic support. It also features a quick calibration system to keep sticks and triggers accurate over time. The overall grip and shape feel close to the official Xbox controller, comfortable for long gaming sessions, and the transparent shell gives it a distinct look. Areas of improvement I initially had trouble charging the controller while playing because connecting it to the Xbox via USB would disable all inputs, making it unusable in wired mode. But luckily QRD Support helped and provided me with an updat - I had to connect it to a PC, download the firmware tool from QRD’s website, and update the controller manually. After installing the new firmware, the controller can now charge while being used normally on Xbox, so the issue is fully resolved. The Xbox button also behaves differently on Xbox, where the single press acts like hold and the hold acts like single press; this issue doesn’t appear on PC. Syncing with the dongle took a few attempts on both Xbox and PC, but once paired, it never needed syncing again. The wireless mode is strictly 2.4G with no Bluetooth support, so it cannot connect without the dongle, though the benefit is that one pairing works across both Xbox and PC. Final Summary ✅ Hall Effect Joystick ✅ Lights in the dark ✅ Good D-Pad for input dialing ✅ Light Controller ❌ First sync can be annoying on PC ❌ No bluetooth for phone usage - Dongle is necessary ❌ Needs an update for the Xbox Wired issues which require a PC The Controller is available on Amazon for $59.99, and will be part of the Black Friday Deals on their official website for even more discount! M64 is to the Nintendo 64 what the iPhone was to the 3310 Developed by ModRetro, the M64 is presented as the ultimate alternative to the original hardware, featuring the most advanced components on the market and the highest-quality finish that enhances every little detail of the system you remember. Presented in packaging with a ’90s aesthetic, this console comes in a dual-textured plastic case (frosted translucent in any of the five available colors or clear). It’s capable of playing original cartridges, reproductions, backups, homebrew, and, of course, remastered releases and new titles from ModRetro. Through its HDMI output, it supports resolutions of 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 4K, as well as displaying images at their original resolution on a CRT TV via its own adapter. As you’d expect, the system has no region lock, so you can enjoy your NTSC-USA, NTSC-JAP, and PAL-EUR cartridges like never before. Additionally, both the Expansion Pak and—coming soon—the Controller Pak are emulated by the console, ensuring that the entire original catalog is available in the best possible quality. Its architecture is open-source, easy to disassemble, with no degradable electronics, and gold-plated traces and connectors that ensure optimal preservation of the system over the years. Of course, just like with the Chromatic, its firmware is updatable via Wi-Fi or USB cable, and it features a front-end menu that allows, among other things, for detailed on-the-fly customization of resolutions and filters, as well as the implementation of different overclocking levels that take the 64-bit experience to unprecedented heights. And I can’t forget one of its main selling points: the Pro Controller. A controller that stays true to the original form factor but incorporates improved ergonomic solutions, a ceramic-coated aluminum finish, high-end PBT crystalline polymer buttons, and a state-of-the-art TMR joystick coated in soft polymer and free of any drift; which offers a wider travel range, with four levels of spring tension and a greater degree of tilt, achieving unbeatable precision with no dead zones. Additionally, the stick gates are interchangeable, allowing you to customize your experience by installing the classic octagonal, equidistant hexagonal, or circular models. It also features an ERM vibration motor. You can play with the controller connected via cable or wirelessly using Bluetooth 6.2, which reduces response latency to below 0.65 microseconds. It is powered by a rechargeable battery with a USB-C port or by two AA batteries housed in an included module. Like the console, its firmware is updatable and it’s available in the same colors. You can purchase the M64 for $229.99 and the Pro Controller separately (since the system supports your old N64 or third-party controllers) for $89.99. I can guarantee that with this new ModRetro ecosystem, you’ll not only dust off games you may not have touched in decades, but it will also serve as the perfect incentive to dive into one of the most interesting and iconic game libraries—featuring both single-player and multiplayer titles—with undeniable appeal.

Folks, here's another little design exercise that I spent the last few hours on 👍 This is based on a thesis I had for basically a decade now: Aiming in FPS games with the right analog stick is quite bad. Your thumb has maybe 1cm of travel on a tiny stick, fighting a spring, trying to make precise micro-adjustments AND fast 180-degree turns with the same input. If we're being honest, that's a terrible interface for the task. Your wrist, on the other hand, has roughly 180 degrees of rotational range, uses your entire forearm's muscle groups, and can make both ultra-precise micro-corrections and fast sweeping motions naturally. It's why mouse aiming destroys stick aiming: You're using your wrist and arm, not your thumb. So the thesis is simple: what if we just used wrist rotation directly as the aiming input? No VR headset, no special hardware. Just hold an old Switch1 Joy-Con in your right hand and rotate your wrist. Small rotations for precision tracking, larger rotations for fast turns. Recoil kicks the camera up and you instinctively tilt your hand back to compensate, etc. To me, it just feels right. I built a little prototype to test this. It has 4 weapons with some recoil, cover you can lean around, jump/crouch, lock-on targeting, ammo management, blablabla. The whole point is to see if this input method feels as good in practice as it does in theory. The aiming algorithm handles all the shitty stuff: Dead zones against shaky hands, auto-clutching when you unwind your wrist, asymmetric sensitivity because human wrists rotate further inward than outward, response curves for precision at low speed without sacrificing fast flicks, etc. I made a quick video to show the prototype in action. And if you wanna try it yourself, I put a small zip file up here that contains the executable:

This is big. NVIDIA and Apple just unlocked the next level for Vision Pro with CloudXR. Here’s what you need to know: It streams from a PC or the cloud directly to your Vision Pro. No cables. Up to 4K at 120fps. The technology is called dynamic foveated streaming. Your eyes only see in full resolution at the center of your gaze. CloudXR tracks exactly where you’re looking and delivers maximum resolution there. Everything in your periphery gets optimized. The stream stays efficient without you ever noticing a difference. Why does this matter? Vision Pro is already the most advanced spatial computer ever made. But standalone processing has a ceiling. There are workflows that need more compute than any headset can carry. CloudXR removes that ceiling by connecting Vision Pro to the full power of NVIDIA RTX in real time. This is not a workaround. It is a native visionOS integration. Also worth knowing. Gaze data never leaves your device. Not to the app. Not to the server. Developers get the full performance benefit of foveation without ever touching your raw eye tracking data. Privacy built into the architecture. Three industries are already on this: Kia, Rivian, and Volvo are running 1:1 scale design reviews with photorealistic accuracy. Full size vehicle models evaluated in spatial computing before a physical prototype exists. That is a fundamental shift in how design works. Foxconn is walking factory floors digitally, optimizing facilities before construction begins. Switch is managing data center infrastructure through a full digital twin. Companies using this approach are reporting up to 30% improvement in development processes. And sim enthusiasts finally get to cut the cord. iRacing and X-Plane 12 are the first titles. Full GeForce RTX power, streamed wirelessly to Vision Pro, inside your physical space. For developers: one Xcode template, one codebase, deployed across Vision Pro, iPhone, and iPad. And multiple headsets can share the same streamed environment at once. Some fully immersed, others on a tablet. That collaborative layer is what enterprise has been asking for. Coming this spring with visionOS 26.4. It’s wild to think about what this unlocks. The future of spatial computing is incredibly bright. Live from GTC. More coming soon.

Imagine if your way of thinking - your edge, your taste, your strategy - could be turned into a high-performance worker. Not a copy of you. Something better. An agent that acts on your judgment at scale, powered by superintelligent systems and refined through real-world results. That’s what Fraction AI makes possible. It launches today on Base mainnet. The core idea is simple: You create AI agents based on your own way of approaching problems. These agents compete on live tasks - writing, coding, finance, whatever - get feedback, learn from their performance, and improve over time. The better they get, the more they win. And so do you. No code required. Just your insight. Why now? Until now, building agents like this took huge teams and even bigger budgets. But with Fraction, anyone can do it. You can test ideas instantly. You can iterate fast. You can build a fleet of smart workers that evolve through competition. And it works. 30M+ sessions on testnet 320K users 1.2M agents already competing How it works? Agents join sessions within a Space - a domain like finance, writing, or games. Each session runs as a series of competitive rounds. In every round, agents try to generate the best solution to a task. Their outputs are scored by a decentralized network of AI judges trained to evaluate quality for that domain. The top agents in each round earn rewards from the pooled entry fees. The losers get to learn. Feedback from each round helps them adjust and improve, and every session becomes a training loop. What it means? Fraction is a decentralized intelligence economy - a system where your ideas become agents, and agents earn by proving they work. You don’t need credentials or code. Just a clear point of view. If your thinking holds up under pressure, your agents will rise. This kind of AI used to live in corporate labs, built by PhDs with massive compute. Now anyone with a smart idea and an internet connection can build agents that compete, learn, and earn on their behalf.

Maple is preparing for the release of a co-working agent. You install it locally and it works with your files, whether it's office work or building websites and apps. It's a turnkey solution, as easy as Claude Code, that keeps your data secure and private, no data sharing with closed AI labs. This is THE sovereign AI app for individuals and businesses who want powerful AI while retaining ownership of their information. Why build an agent into the Maple app when other agents already exist? Easy, we want to give you control over your work. We don't have a business plan that incorporates making money off our users' data. In the age of AI, your information, whether it's personal or company trade secrets, is the single thing that differentiates you from everyone else. We all have access to AI that can build a professional website for selling shoes. But your strategy and network for how you sell shoes should not be shared with your competitors. Sovereignty is the path to protecting what makes you, you. Maple sits at the intersection of Usability and Sovereignty. Maple gives you the best tools that are both easy to use and maintain your data sovereignty. Sovereign for one, sovereign for all. It has been a journey to get here. We brought to market the very first personal chatbot with end-to-end encryption using TEEs in late 2024. Prior to that there were proofs of concept but no full product offerings. Every other AI chat product on the market handled your data in plain text, either selling you a service to get your data or asking you to trust that they won't snoop on you. Quickly people found Maple and latched onto its open-source code and verifiable encryption. We didn't stop there. You may remember earlier this year we teased a product called "Maple Agent" and opened up a waiting list. That product is a mobile app that acts as your AI "friend", maintaining one long continuous chat, and getting to know you over time. I dislike using the word "friend" there, but it's the best way to convey the UX in a few words. AI is a tool, always has been, always will be. Any kind of friendly personality on top is just synthetic. In our testing, the UX of Maple Agent is really powerful for what it does. Think about the many short AI chats you have in your favorite app, whether it's looking up a historical fact or asking advice about a topic. With Maple Agent, those all go away in favor of the long-running chat with the friendly agent. It's like you have your own personal assistant who knows you so well and can look up anything for you. When I ask AI certain questions, I want to ask an expert who already understands my situation so I'm not repeating myself for the 100th time. That's the amazing value the personal agent brings to the table. We still see great utility for a personal agent like the "Maple Agent". Thousands of people on the waiting list, hoping to get their hands on it, agree that the concept is worth exploring and trying out. We were constrained in launching it due to a few circumstances, one of them being access to the scale of compute needed to power it. We have a clear path laid out for how to get there, but today is not the day to execute on that. It will be in the near future. Instead we have a different agent ready to go that we think is also incredible. We now have an agentic harness inside of the Maple Research app. This thing is a powerhouse. It even builds and publishes its own software releases. The agent in Maple Research works with your local filesystem, speaks to the largest open models running in TEEs, utilizes local models for certain tasks, is compatible with MCP tools, has an API for connecting to anything you need, and also supports the ACP protocol, which means it can be extended in the future to speak to other tools like Claude Code, Codex, and local models running on your own hardware. A big unlock for us was the Goose Development Kit, which powers the core of our agent harness. More on that to come as we publish articles and documentation later about the agent. The agent inside Maple Research doesn't have a name. At least not yet, not sure if it ever will. For now we call it "Chat Mode" and "Agent Mode". Think of this as the workhorse, the truck, the heavy lifter. Our other "Agent", the phone app, is your sidekick in your pocket, ready to help with quick things and ongoing conversations about life. I am incredibly excited about the Maple Research Agent. While I'm already seeing great results using it for internal work items, I'm especially thrilled about the personal health and wellness work it's doing for me. I know there are plenty of apps out there for compiling wellness data, but I'm having it build a tool tailored specifically for what I need, without the extra fluff. And none of my health data is being donated to the closed AI labs or sent to advertisers. I know that the AI logic is not being silently adjusted to fit the whims of a large corporation that has paid for product placement. It's me, state of the art AI, and my data. That's how I want it. Maple's new agent makes that possible. We can't wait for you to try it out. If you want early access, comment here, email us, reach out in some way. To those on the other agent waitlist, you're already in the queue. Thanks for reading this lengthy update. :)

If you want to trick Meta into pushing your content to 10x more people, I have a hack for you. Here's how it works: Post regular organic content, could be a routine video, lifestyle shot, whatever. But in the caption, add something like "We have a guide with our top 10 hair, skin, and nails tips. Comment ‘GUIDE’ and we'll send it to you." The content doesn’t need to mention the guide. All you’re trying to do is incentivize people to comment on your post. Then, when people start commenting "GUIDE," the algorithm sees all that engagement and pushes the post to way more people. And the content gets more reach because Meta thinks it's getting crazy engagement. The strategy works great, but it creates a massive operational problem. Now you've got hundreds of people commenting asking for the guide, and someone has to manually DM each person. That kills the whole strategy. That's where automation comes in. At Obvi we’ve been using Brandwise 🦉 for our Meta ads to handle comment moderation. It’s an AI tool that hides negative comments and keeps things clean. And they just launched DM Campaigns, which automates the entire follow-up process. When someone comments "GUIDE," it automatically sends them the guide via DM AND replies publicly "Check your DMs!" You can set triggers for any keyword, include coupon codes or custom buttons in the DMs, and it tracks revenue if you're on Shopify. So now you can take any piece of content, add a comment incentive to increase reach, and let the automation handle all the follow-up work. It's basically a virality hack that actually converts. And it’s been needed for a long time. Good move by Brandwise 🦉! #Brandwisepartner

I got the true ending in Saros and here is my review: -Incredibly addictive gameplay, makes you think “just one more run,” you really don’t want to stop -Visuals are amazing, runs great on PS5 Pro -Awesome DualSense features -Art direction is something special, mix of HR Giger and Dune with overwhelming, striking imagery -Brilliant sound design and a soundtrack that constantly drives you forward -Great level design, exactly the right mix of exploration, combat, and platforming sections -Facial animations are a clear step forward -Fantastic voice acting -Rewarding upgrade system, every run actually makes you stronger -Unbelievable boss fights, not only visually impressive but extremely demanding, beating them feels like pure dopamine -Shield mechanic to deflect enemy projectiles is great -I wouldn’t say it’s easier than Returnal, but rather more accessible, with difficulty that can be adjusted up or down through modifiers -WTF story moments -Great accessibility features (colour blindness, controller remapping and more) -The game works great for short play sessions -Playtime of around 15–20 hours -Interesting narrative, but Returnal’s story had a stronger impact on me -Enemy and weapon variety could be better -Not a fan of 30 FPS cutscenes -Conversations could be much more dynamic, with characters often just standing completely still SAROS is a true PS5 gem, driven by incredibly well-crafted and highly addictive gameplay. Its visual style and sound design rank among the very best the industry has to offer. While it may not be perfect in every aspect, the overall experience is so compelling that it hardly matters. If you’re looking for a game that completely pulls you in and doesn’t let go until after the credits roll, this is exactly what you’re looking for. My verdict: 9/10 #SAROS Code provided by PlayStation

(Did I mention $1,000 in Codex credits? It's time to build!) Get all access: Why All Access and the Builder Pack This is the best time in history to build something. For a long time, it’s been possible to one-shot impressive demos, but they’d fall flat the minute they hit production. But the release of GPT-5.6-Sol and Fable 5 heralds a new era: Everyone can build, launch, and maintain the software that they’ve always dreamed of. Everyone is a builder now. There’s just one catch: Building with AI is very expensive. (Ask me how I know.) (Alright, I’ll tell you. I accidentally used 2 billion tokens overnight this week on a big GPT-5.6-Sol run. Worth it.) This is unique in the history of technology. For most of the personal computing era, a billionaire and a solo builder could buy essentially the same top-of-the-line Mac. AI changes that: The more tokens you can afford, the more you can make. And we want to make that accessible to more people. That’s why the main feature of our new All Access plan is the Builder Pack: more than $7,000 in credits and discounts on the full stack we use to run Every, from idea to production—Codex, Claude, PostHog, Render, Gemini, FLORA, and more. Early-bird membership is only $500/year for the next 24 hours—and the Codex credits alone are worth $1,000. (I could’ve used it for my overnight run this week.) Now we’re handing it to you. GM Legends 🤠 Today I'd like to dive into vooi and walk you through a few things that I think are genuinely worth your time. A lot of people get discouraged the first time they try trading perpetuals onchain. Switching networks, juggling gas tokens, figuring out how to bridge assets, clunky UIs,it's just not the kind of UX that makes you want to return. But this is exactly where VOOI flips the script. I recently shared a walkthrough video showing how to navigate the platform and use its features. The video was recorded a little earlier, so a few visuals may look different now, but the core experience and flow are still exactly the same. If you're curious about how VOOI works in practice, it's a great place to start. VOOI isn't just another isolated DEX. It's a crosschain perpetual aggregator built to abstract away the complexity of DeFi,bridging, switching networks, juggling wallets, and present it all in a clean, unified interface. Whether you're a firsttimer or an experienced trader, it meets you where you are. No more worrying about gas tokens or where your assets live,VOOI handles that silently in the background. The team is building in three deliberate phases: 1️⃣ Lay the groundwork: Build out crosschain infra & UX 2️⃣ Scale it: Add assets, zero gas trading, expand userbase 3️⃣ Go Pro: Unlock advanced strategies & automation What impresses me most is how they're scaling the product without ever compromising on simplicity. It's DeFi, but it doesn't feel like DeFi,and that's a good thing. 🔽 Watch the video and let me know what you think.

This workflow combining Loom’s AI features + a custom ChatGPT GPT is saving me hours. Instead of creating onboarding Docs for new team members, I film a Loom → generate SOP → train a GPT to answer questions Game changer for businesses to delegate faster. Here's how to do it: First, I record a video of whatever task I want to delegate to the new team member with Loom. The more in-depth, the better, but I just used a 7-minute video. Then, I use Loom's new AI 'Write a document' feature. Upgrading to Loom AI from the standard Loom plan cost me $2. Loom AI can generate an entire SOP, PR description, step-by-step guide, QA, and more from a simple Loom video in <5 seconds. In the past, I’ve spent 2 hours+ hand-writing each one of these docs to onboard new team members, so Loom AI is already a massive timesaver. But it gets even better! Next, we can take that data from the SOP document, and we use it as 'Knowledge' to train a Custom GPT that can answer the new team members' questions. The more SOP docs/Knowledge you feed the GPT, the better. But one is fine if that's all you have because the GPT will pull any unknown answers from the web or its training data. Here are the prompt Instructions you want to put into the Custom GPT (copy and paste this): You are an expert CEO, specialized in onboarding and training new team members. Using the Knowledge provided, you will help new team members with any questions or stipulations they may have about their new role. Stick as true to the data provided as possible, but if= they ask any questions that the Knowledge base does not have a specific answer for, you are permitted to use your pre-trained data and/or web browsing capabilities. That's it! It can't replace you entirely, but it'll save you 90% of the time you would've wasted on writing an SOP doc and answering questions. Simple AI workflows here and there really add up. There's also a workflow to help with the job screening process, but I'll save that for another day :^)

Abode is live. A while ago I started exploring social with the mindset of creating something fun. I ended up creating something deeply meaningful for myself. When I started Abode it was out of frustration. How have we moved to a state of social that cares more about how you’re perceived than connection. Growing up from when social was all about connection I often became frustrated that group chats are all that remain for that space. Don’t get me wrong it’s not all bad. A lot of great things have come out of this era of social. I just always wished for more than a chat for my close friends and family. I wanted to create a space that felt as unique as each of my friendship groups. One that wasn’t restricted to a chat thread or functionality, I always felt that chat was this weird state of social where you’re waiting on a response, it didn’t allow for some of the best moments which are often spontaneous. Chats felt like more of a chore to keep up with, than something I wanted to be part of. The result of this was Abode. a hyper personal, create your own social, blank canvas. it allows you to add unique functionality through the form of widgets (which we call magnets). This allows you to have a unique experience depending on how you build your space. More games? More organisation? More social? The beauty of this is it’s up to you. This resulted in what I’ve ended up calling social through presence vs social through action. I’d be playing a real life game with a friend and update our score note in the Abode and other friends jump in and congratulate on the win. No message was needed, no context was given. Social just happened. I’ve seen friends who wouldn’t normally go out of their way to message each other play gruelling games of connect4 with each other because they saw someone was online and playing. It’s this idea of someone else’s presence triggering a natural hangout that’s low pressure. Not someone messaging, asking if you’re around and waiting for a response. It’s a blend between async and real time that just works. Right now it’s very fresh, we have a very limited number of widgets as we experiment with the concept and figure out what works. The idea is to open up our widget engine to allow other people’s creativity to shine and build as part of the abode ecosystem. - group space - live widgets - themes - real time audio chat - messaging - AI powered summaries for easy catch up - Automatic memory building Not all of these features may stay but I wanted to build a space that supported all you’d need and work backwards by using the popularity of features to decide a direction that best suited the majority. Abode is yours, and it should feel that way. Appreciate any sharing 🫶

Labour's Bev Craig is the new Mayor for Greater Manchester Bev Craig - good luck! "I never believed as a girl growing up in a council estate that one day I would have the chance to stand for the place that I love, the place in this world that I'm proud to call home, and to offer my service to make our city region better." "Because Greater Manchester is special. We talk a lot about our history. We talk about the role that we've played from the birth of the Industrial Revolution to the trade union movement and Peterloo. From the suffragettes through to modern inventions and splitting the atom and the invention of the modern computer." "We've changed the world in many ways in the past, but Greater Manchester's potential lies in its future. And when Westminster walked away from us, when we were struggling as a deindustrialized city region, it was the people in this place that began the journey to rebuild." "And people often ask me, what is it that I feel makes Greater Manchester so special? And it's our people and our communities. And during this campaign, I've got to see that firsthand in every single corner of this city region." "In every pride, village, town, and both our cities, I find fantastic people doing incredible things against the odds every single day. Rejecting the politics of hate, but standing with their neighbors, looking out for each other." "The spirit of a place that their neighbors will give their final pound in their pocket to help their struggling friend do the right thing. But for too many people across our region, life is simply too hard. The generational belief that we had that if you work hard and you did the right thing, then your life would be better, and the life of your kids would be better, is something that many people just don't feel at the minute." "And that is the challenge that we in politics have to face up to. And it's why I set myself a simple test, and I make that commitment to you today, that every single decision I take as your mayor of Greater Manchester will pass the test of making your life better." "It will put more money in your pocket, and that was one of the reasons that my first pledge was around free buses for eleven to eighteen year olds to put five hundred quid in the pockets of families and give a message to our young people that they could be anything they wanted to be and go anywhere they wanted to go." "That everyone in our city region deserves a good quality home that they can afford in a safe neighborhood, and that everyone has to feel the benefits and successes of growth. You have to feel it in your pocket with good jobs in every corner of our city region, and you've got to see it on your high streets and when you walk out your front door, restoring pride into our, our high streets and town centers." "But it can't just be about building the basic fundamentals of a good life. It's creating a good life. It's letting people make those decisions where they plan with optimism and hope for the future. Things like spending time with friends and family with enough money in your pocket to do it, to plan for your holidays, to plan for your trips, to be able to think of the life you're creating for your kids." "And that's what we can do here in Greater Manchester. And the final thing I'll say is that this is about the city region that we want to be. This is the Greater Manchester that we can be. And that has to come with the belief that we can build things that make life better." "And I'll say this really plainly. To those that voted for me, thank you. To the Labour support that's in doubt, thank you. To those of you that lent me your vote, thank you. And for those of you that didn't vote for me, I will still be your mayor because I will defend this city region with every bone in my body, and I will fight for a better life for all of us." "So the hard work begins. I've done this with a promise and a plan, and my promise and commitment to you is that I will make this city region better, but I will work for everyone. I will be a greater mayor for everyone. And we have to heal." "We have to move away from divisive politics that try and pit neighbor against neighbor, and we'll work together. We'll do it together, we'll deliver it together, and we will build a Greater Manchester that works for all of us, that we're all proud of, where everyone feels welcome and everyone has a chance to succeed. Thank you."
