While working on a new video with solutions to the previous one, I found ChatGPT's new UI struggles even more with concurrent updates: entries lose state and stick around for too long (see video). If this was a LiveView app, we would be getting so much flak.😅 --- I believe part of the problem here is having separate mutate and fetch requests on every deletion. The first fetch is cancelled when the second one comes up, causing items to stick around for longer. Many said yesterday that you could do the mutation and fetch as a single request, but that leads to other problems, such zombie entries. For example, imagine you delete link1 and link2 within a brief period of time. There is no guarantee the deletion order in the database will match the order the client receives the response, so you may end up with this: 1. (client) request to delete link1 sent 2. (client) request to delete link2 sent 3. (server) deletes link1 and loads a new list (includes link2) 4. (server) deletes link2 and loads a new list (no link1 or link2) 5. (client) receives link2 response 6. (client) receives link1 response So if you choose to use the latest response (link1), you brought link2 back to life. If you say you will use the response from the last request, events 3-4 can be swapped, and now you bring link1 back to life. Another way to solve this is by basically not allowing concurrent requests at all but that can affect the user experience drastically in other ways. Next week I should publish a video explaining how LiveView tackles this. Stay tuned!

I regret to inform my iRacing friends that I have been suspended from the iRacing service as well as the upcoming Coke Series race at Iowa for “intentionally causing a caution” during the eNASCAR race at Kansas. This is of course pending an ongoing appeal process that JRM and I are going through while this is still playing out. I’m simply stunned at this ruling and I want to be perfectly clear… I did not, nor would I ever, intentionally spin to bring out a caution. I have far too much respect for the folks I represent and the people I race with to do so. The attached replay clearly shows me trying to gain control of the car after receiving suspension damage from an impact with the wall, and unfortunately I failed to do so. A mistake on my part no doubt, but nothing close to substantiating the claim that I had intent to manipulate the race. My replay is up here and my twitch vod is available for anyone who wants to view it showing my perspective of the incident… I have absolutely nothing to hide. None of those things (my replay, telemetry, or stream view) were utilized by the decision makers before coming to their conclusion. It is my hope that with this information provided in the appeal process, that it will clear my name of any wrongdoing. Regardless of their eventual decision, my conscience is clear on the matter and I take solace in knowing that I did nothing in line with what they have accused me of. I’m grateful to JRM for their continued support and the work they’re doing in attempting to get this ruling overturned. I apologize to them that they had to waste time dealing with this nonsense. I hate that I may not be behind the wheel for them in the #8 at Iowa because it truly is an awesome privilege being in this series, but I look forward to racing whenever that return might be. I reckon I’ll be back on iRacing when my suspension is up or this appeal is rightfully reversed. Hopefully by then I’ll have learned my lesson and be better at saving wrecked cars with unrepairable suspension damage. Maybe with the new build it’ll be easier, who knows. I guess we’ll see! ✌️

Hello Hugh Thomas , let’s do it one by one, sample by sample, stone by stone. Whenever an artificial stone recipe of mine reaches a certain stage that’s the results are comparable to the natural version I’ll send a cast sample to you (with its mold) to analyze. The first one could be this perfectly chiseled fake limestone cube. As you can see you can’t fit a razor blade between the stone and the cheap silicone mold from Temu. This proves my micro chiseling skills. The recipe is public, you don’t even need my cube, you could create your own - but you won’t. So I’ll send this cute cube to you. The “secret” recipe is: I started from wood ash lye, also called potash, or K2CO3, by slowly dripping water through hard wood ash. Hard wood ash from your fireplace, yeah. Then I added slaked lime, and the chemical reaction produced fine, molecular level CaCO3 particles, fine limestone floating in the liquid. FYI: the secret chemical reaction is, and was in the ancient times as well: K2CO3 + Ca(OH)2 = CaCO3 + 2KOH Yummy! Next step: I let the limestone particles settle, and poured the KOH, potassium hydroxide solution above (that also formed in the liquid, see above) into the kitchen sink as it is a very good drain cleaner indeed. I added water and poured it into the sink several times, trying to clean the slurry from the KOH. So yes, the cube is from almost pure limestone, CaCO3 - with some residual KOH contamination. The KOH contamination can be reduced infinitely, I just stopped after 4 rounds. (Pro tip: put the slurry into a filter bag and put the bag into a mountain creek for an hour.) The next step is filtering and pressing the remaining liquid from the slurry. Because it’s a wet mess at this point. Pressure is a key factor to success! At least one thing is accurate from the universal canon: no pressure-no stone. How do I know? By trying and failing a few (dozen) times. So I poured the white limestone slurry into a sock 🧦 and pressed and squeezed it by hand - and that was JUST enough pressure for the magic to happen 😮 It looks like nature/god is on our side, everything is working as it was designed this way. Then I put the almost dry limestone paste into this Temu mold. Fun fact: it still contains a lot of water which will eventually be pressed out as the crystallization progresses, so we’ll need to get rid of that water through a hole, a nub. But there is no hole 🕳️ on this Temu mold so I poured the excess liquid from the top a few times. Hardening time=drying time=crystallization time : 1 week. The important lesson I learned from this experience is as follows: I tried to understand why this sludge turned into hard stone, because, as we were told, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE, and my understanding is this: wood ash lye does two different magics in parallel for this to happen: 1. It magically contains the right kind of contamination to facilitate calcite crystal formation and 2. The incredibly high pH (remember, 2 molecules of KOH are produced from 1 molecule of K2CO3!) in the liquid boost the calcite formation even more. ———- My only request from you and your colleagues concerning this analysis is full, 100000% transparency. And be honest. I know something you clearly don’t: you have lost this battle already. We need the data fast, not in 4 years or something. Transparency means sharing whatever you find here on X, without scientific drama and pullbacks. We don’t need a 947 pages scientific paper. We need the results, the data only. BTW: I already know what you will find: a “special type of natural limestone” with some minimal potassium contamination🤣🤣🤣 Now feel free to DM me, let this scientific analysis happen! And thank you for your offer!

GUYS!! NIGERIA, AEDC, AND TINUBU HAPPENED TO MY SMALL COMMUNITY IN LUGBE YESTERDAY!!!😥 For almost 3 years since I built my small hut in this community, we have been battling with epileptic power situation due to the overloaded Transformer which has been serving 3 communities including mine. In December 2025, after myself and a few community members spearheaded a regime change and ensured a proper election was conducted. After the election, we told the newly elected chairman (who happens to be my very very good friend) that the priority is for us to get our own dedicated Transformer for the community. Initially, we were thinking of buying. But considering it will cost over N20million to buy a 500KVA Transformer and another N15million plus for accessories and installation, the mission looked impossible. Then I and others told the Chairman that we can actually give it a try an reach out to the aedcelectricity for a Transformer given that the NERC Nigeria has told Nigerians that it is the responsibility of the DISCOs to provide Transformer and any power related infrastructure to any community or area in need of such infrastructure. Considering the Nigerian factor, many, infact, almost the entire community said it was never going to be possible for AEDC to give us a Transformer free of charge. But as someone who has been an advocate of government and who has always benefited from government by following due process, I encouraged my community and the Chairman that this is actually worth a try. In January 2026, we drafted a Transformer request letter and submitted to the AEDC Head Office at Wuse Zone 4, and the processes began. Low and behold, in less than 4 months, the AEDC, yesterday, delivered a brand new 500KVA Transformer with complete accessories to my community FREE-OF-CHARGE!🤸‍♂️🕺 I have told my community people that we have started benefitting our own share of the N3.3trillion approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to GENCOs and all of us have agreed that come 2027, it is TINUBU OR NOTHING!!!🤗💪🏾 God bless the AEDC! ⁉️ WHERE’S THE BEEF… UM… FROM ⁉️ Long ago, back in the dark ages of the 1980’s, Wendy’s restaurants had commercials with the tag line “Where’s the beef?” We all thought it was because Wendy’s had bigger burgers than McDonalds, but we never considered the possibility that they meant other restaurants weren’t using actual BEEF…😳 Things to think about when watching the videos👇🏽 1) There are JUST A FEW other restaurants, aside from McDonalds, who sell beef. ✅ 2) Well over 100 million Americans have died in the past 50 years, but I have never seen the construction of a new graveyard. Have you? Where do the bodies go? 👀 3) From where do all the big fast food chains get their “beef”? 🤷🏽‍♂️ 4) There is nowhere near enough beef in the world to handle this demand. I'm still in Busan, spending a quality time with my family here. I was unsuccessful in securing tickets for either day for Busan concert even though I tired till the end on Nol World queue and I needed some time to gather my thoughts and sort through my emotions😢 Tbh I felt really sad and helpless. But now that I think about it, this experience gave me a whole new perspective in a way.. I was roaming around outside of the stadium and found a spot where many neighborhood residents were gathered along with some Armys. We chanted and sang together too. The spot I found happened to be on a hill where a walking trail was connected. So, many locals who were passing by stopped to join and cheered together. Whenever Jin's face appeared on the screen, I couldn't help but notice even locals blurting out in excitement 'OMG, he's insanely handsome!' I am not gonna lie...I was really disappointed and disheartened before the concert as this ticketing and camping all day long experience in Nol Wolrd felt so out of my control.. But it is what it is and I guess that was as far as my luck in Busan would take me. At the end of the day, I'm still grateful that I was able to share the same space (in a way 😅) and be part of the experience with Seokjin on top of seeing my family here in Busan again this time of the year. The total cost of the housing program for Ukrainians since 2022 has already reached €3.4 billion, which is a cause for concern in the context of the burden on Ireland's budget and the needs of other social programs. More than €141 million was spent in 2024 alone on the Ukrainian Accommodation Recognition Payment scheme – where €800 per month is paid tax-free to anyone hosting a person or persons from Ukraine. The expenditure on the scheme is separate, and in addition to, the cost of providing accommodation centres and services for those who have arrived from Ukraine. More than 15,000 people are currently claiming the monthly Recognition Payment, which has been criticised as radically distorting the rental sector. Currently, over 15,500 hosts are accommodating almost 36,000 Ukrainians in over 19,000 accommodations. The number of private individuals hosting refugees from Ukraine quadrupled from just over 4,000 at the start of 2023 to the current number, with costs rising accordingly. My birthday is in 20 days from TODAY 14th NOVEMBER🔥💰 My life took a new shift when I joined crypto & Web3 in November 2020, exactly my birthday month. With N340k (naira) COVID-19 loan. Over the period of 5 years, by the Grace of God, I've been able to grow that N340k to billions (naira) in the crypto market. The exciting part of it is the over 5000 young people across 57 countries of the world who have become millionaires and multi-millionnaires in the period of these five years and a millionaire in dollars. With my help lots of people got married to their dream woman and man, started businesses, invested in real estate; house and Landed properties, bought/built houses, got new cars, relocated to thee dream destination country, furthered their education, etc. All Glory to God who made it possible through his Grace & functional wisdom in my life. After I bought my first car, same month. In 2022, I decided to do something different, I organized a family & friends diner party celebration in a hotel. It was an amazingly beautiful seeing people I love & that love me celebrating me. When 2023 birthday came, I needed a breath of something new, so I decided to celebrated my birthday (Giving Back to my online Community) by hosting an X space here on Twitter on my birthday (14th DAY of November) where I did a giveaway of $2k to space participants. When my 2024 birthday came, a thought to try something new flashed, prior before then, I had bought my second car, which happened to be my dream car, and relocated to a new city, traveled to 6 countries thesame 2024 added to a few other countries I have traveled to in 2023 but I needed to celebrate my birthday in another country, so I traveled to Qatar where I celebrated my birthday experiencing a different environment with different people. In 20 days, I will be celebrating my 2025 birthday, although I don't yet know how to celebrate it but I don't want to celebrate it the way I have celebrated other birthdays. As such, the only thought in my mind now is to celebrate it with a dinner date with my girl😚 in Monaco or Paris💰 Not concluded yet, but that's the thought in my mind right now. My birthday is in 20 days from TODAY 14th NOVEMBER🔥💰 My life took a new shift when I joined crypto & Web3 in November 2020, exactly my birthday month. With N340k (naira) COVID-19 loan. After I bought my first car, same month. In 2022, I decided to do something different, I organized a family & friends diner party celebration in a hotel. It was an amazingly beautiful seeing people I love & that love me celebrating me. When 2023 birthday came, I needed a breath of something new, so I decided to celebrated my birthday (Giving Back to my online Community) by hosting an X space here on Twitter on my birthday (14th DAY of November) where I did a giveaway of $2k to space participants. When my 2024 birthday came, a thought to try something new flashed, prior before then, I had bought my second car, which happened to be my dream car, and relocated to a new city, traveled to 6 countries thesame 2024 added to a few other countries I have traveled to in 2023 but I needed to celebrate my birthday in another country, so I traveled to Qatar where I celebrated my birthday experiencing a different environment with different people. In 20 days, I will be celebrating my 2025 birthday, although I don't yet know how to celebrate it but I don't want to celebrate it the way I have celebrated other birthdays. A very good morning. Welcome to The Council Benji This marks the third Skull in a little run. The first went to a fund I've never met. The second: through Eli Scheinman to a new collector/foundation who has been quietly entering the space in a very significant way across a number of collections whom I’ve never spoken to. Their new entrance enabled a wedding and start of a new married life for Conviction. In my very first conversation with him, we spoke about curses and commitments to the people we love. Since meeting got to talk through each step on that path, from letting go, what is imbued in the ring and ceremony of it all, a proposal, and on the way to the most important of the steps in pursuit of a blessed life. It is easy to get a little cynical on the over-leveraged exit stories that spring up from time to time, so it is a treat to watch one go towards a celebration that’s been building up in his life since the Skull was first acquired. And now: this. The third Skull and the first I can really write about as a shared story across both source and destination. An exit and an entrance. The exit: The Skulls of Luci were awarded as gifts 4 years ago. But before I'd minted Birth of Luci or painted the other 49, the first person in this space I showed the sketch of The Blueprint Skull to was actually Casey💎, when he was working at SuperRare . Casey was the very first person who onboarded me to NFTs, helping me navigate the early days of whatever it meant to even mint something. I explained the idea of gifting one to each person who bid in my first auctions. Though most of the Skulls went to the bidders, Casey's didn't. He didn't ask for one. I didn't tell him I'd give him one. But he helped me take my first steps here, and it's hard to imagine any of this making sense, or unfolding the way it has, without him. Since then, we've broken bread across continents, seen quite a lot of chortling margarita consumption, watched the rise and fall of a lot around us, weathered inter-Council dramas. He brought Laura El into The Monument Game, played as a Player, wore a Mask. Most of the vibe that started all of this, the wild west of it, feels faded in the broader space at times. But every Skull has a story and a person who helped us get here. Casey will always be the one who was there before any metric muddled the reason to care. The entrance: Last fall, Benji came over for a studio visit. We walked through Luci, the works, structure, and dream, as anyone who visits does. But we mostly talked about being a father and having a father. We discussed the very idea of "collection" stripped of accumulation, value, or signal, located more in the act or ceremony of it. What it was to grow up with a curious father who studied the edges of each thing he saw to know the next layer beneath why anyone might look or ignore it. That to pass this on is to pass on questioning, more than it is to pass on any kind of answer. The process of collecting can be perceived as an individual act of hoarding. For some it is maybe. But at its best, it's a way to bind through shared questioning, to bond in cooperation and competition with friends and family, it is the swapped story and meme of it all, and each object gathered along the way carries some shared memory that can, often does, and with intent: should; drift out of the object entirely. All in the psalm, always has been. The studio visit came and went. Soon after, a package arrived in the mail with two of the softest stuffed animals added to my daughter's own collection, now among her favorites. The Skull is a bonus to that, in the scheme of shared memory. For Rachel and I, while we are heads down making a body of work that unsettles us and excites us but demands unknown time to accomplish, it means a great deal to have this kind of support from long term people in the quiet process of making work we want to leave behind ourselves.
