This is why the BC Ostrich Farm matters. It shows clearly that the government has abandoned reason, logic, and fairness. It shows that what they say goes, no matter what they have to take from you to do it or how many years you spent creating the thing they will eagerly destroy. They don't care about proving themselves. They care about doing it and shutting you up. They'll go so far as to throw you in jail to shut you up and they'll create laws to criminalize all speech they don't like. They'll even create laws to kick you off the internet without any due process and make you sign an NDA so you can't tell anyone what happened. They fear your voice. They'll take over your property and build a ridiculous wall of hay to block the world from seeing and rightly questioning the cruelty of what they're doing. They'll make no fly zones so you can't fly a drone and see. They'll harass veterans who dare to even point out to them that they're breaking the law and then they'll bark back that they are the law and what they say goes. It doesn't matter if it's different than what they said ten minutes ago. If they say it, it's true. So shut up and be quiet. They'll fund radical groups to target people they don't like and they'll use circular reporting from the groups they fund to weakly prop up their atrocious disregard for our rights and freedoms. Saying that kind of stuff to people who have to work for a living, and who have no savings, and who are watching administration after administration not be able to tame inflation, whether they're Democrats or Republicans, and then watching the minimum wage just stay the way it is and barely move while the stock market hits records, and then all of us, all of us being tech executives, get super rich, and you wonder why people now are embracing socialism. And it’s why you have Abbott and Shapiro saying, ‘You know what? I have to be anti-capitalistic. I have to be a decel. I have to decelerate.’ It's because they were supposed to see some relief, and they haven't. And then what do people do who do not feel they have any power? Merely because Jim Dolan is admittedly a good friend of Donald Trump's. And to now put that on the players, your boss, the owner of the team you play for is extending this offer, accepting this offer. I don't - I know you might get people that refuse to go. I just think it's not fair to take any of the flowers and beauty of this moment and its unity and try to then place it on the players' back. ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: I totally agree. I think it puts the players in such an uncomfortable position, cause it was honestly the first thing I thought of once they won the championship, as a new Knicks fan, is like, "Oh no, they're going to get invited to the White House and there's this political discourse. Should they go, shout they not?" I think they should go if they want to. If they're comfortable going, because the White House is bigger than any one president and precedency. HAINES: It's our house.
