New sidebar coming soon to Quiver. I designed this working prototype, then built it in actual code and sent real PRs for engineering to polish and ship. I'm not a developer. I've NEVER done that in my entire career. Incredible time to be a product designer.

Finally someone use it on live product! Good job Dann

ohhhh let's go!!! looks sweet Marcin.

The side bar got featured on @recentdesign 🙌

Don't let @brian_lovin see this

@brian_lovin nothing to 👀 here Brian move along.

Brilliant

🙏 thank you boss man

Designers can do everything now :)

incredible feeling!

Wonderful, Dan! Hadn't tried Quiver in a few months and yesterday it blew me away by how well it translated a midjourney image into a workable svg icon.

oh let's go Georgi so awesome to hear. Big release coming soon definitely check it out again when it does. I think you'll enjoy it!

Dang. Love it.

🫶 appreciate you

Love to see it! The nice design & a designer who ships.

appreciate that 🙏

the part with what you have already created on hover is really good

thank you! feels like the words just weren't enough and needed visual context for what Quiver is

yeah words really aren’t enough, cuz this more creation tool

welcome to the club :)

What a time to be a designer

👀

well hello 👀

Magic man! 🪄

same i have been doing this workflow recently feels like i have super power LMAO

It’s so awesome!

ah man need this in so many other tools too

it's been so nice testing it out in action. all the small details add up to one big improvement.

This is fun! What did you use to build prototype?

I used Claude Code

This is both smart and cool. Inspiration kicks in.

let's go! thank you Damian.

this is exactly it. being able to take an idea all the way to a working pr changes the speed you can move at.

100% gamechanger

such a nice touch, love it

Nice!

How about a way to see API creations in the Quiver UI? I can see the calls but seeing the end SVG would be helpful.

Workflow please. 🙏

YES DAN

🙌

Looks amazing, and it’s truly incredible that designers can ship now. Quick feedback: There’s something odd with the tooltips. They appear before you actually hover the element, which feels off. Might be worth tightening that up.

it's a mix of the screen studio capture + my proto. almost didn't post it bc of it. but also handed this off to the much more talented engineers to polish. appreciate you looking out! when it's live if you see anything PLEASE let us know.

It’s great that you posted it. It’s amazing seeing designers actually shipping. Now we finally know what a PR is 🤣

right? lol. @xn1cklas had to painfully teach me.

this will be very cool

Obsessed with this. You designed AND shipped PRs without being a developer? That's huge. It's all about the little things! Sidebar looks super clean.

Looks good, From Claude Design to Claude Code?

Claude Code! I still haven't used Claude Design much.

Damn! Looks really good! You should try it sometimes. It especially works good with projects that you’ve been working at for a while. As a App designer it saves me lots of time designing multiple iterations on current or new modules/functions.

Looks really cool!

Are you using a ui kit library?

no it's brand system from our epic brand designer however temporality using icons from a kit as we build out our icon system/creator

this is what gets lost in the noise: most founders can describe a great design, but actually writing working code for it? that's where the real separation of skill happens

So cool!

Thank you Jenny!

it is

damn coding now too? still waiting on the actual product tho

soo good

This is where product design gets really interesting. Closing the gap between the prototype and the actual implementation gives designers so much more control over the final experience. Really nice work.
