Traffic islands are an absolute abomination. If there's a button to press to cross a road, it should be the crossing of that road in its entirety. All the way to the other side!

But cyclists don't stop at red lights, so what's the problem?

No cycle lane - Complain Gets a cycle lane- complains because they are not a priority even though cyclists are an absolute minority on the road. 🤷‍♂️

This junction is basically a motorway exit. 3 minutes isn't a long time.

The original design that was here was an absolute nightmare. Whoever signed off on it should have been sacked. It was like a gigantic island that made zero sense.
