What if the production Roadster isn’t the 2017 prototype with thrusters bolted on — what if they finally fold it into the Cybertruck / DeLorean universe? They already designed Cybertruck and DeLorean was the inspiration the whole time. After nine years they were going to redesign it anyway (Countach / SR-71 rumors). Making the halo car visually related to the truck instead actually makes brand sense. The Easter egg is what sells it. They already have the 121-mile / 1.21 gigawatts / OUTATIME gag. Put that same joke on a stainless two-seater that can leave the ground with SpaceX cold-gas thrusters and you’ve got the actual time machine, not just the software gag. Doesn’t have to be a full Cybertruck clone — keep the Roadster stance and 2+2, harden the surfaces, stainless or stainless-look option, lean into the BTTF marketing. The thruster package already does half the work. If Oct 1 is just “same shape + rockets,” fine. If they actually close the loop on the design language……..

The thrusters also have Mach diamonds - the air coming out is faster than the speed of sound. Tesla is not messing around with this thing.

I think the car upside down, it will have fans underneath sucking it to the ground even when against gravity. Thrusters are unlikely pushing it into the ground

If you optimized with less battery you could attach wings and fly for real. That means you could litereally design it to do whatever you want. This demo will be insane.
