so you want to reverse engineer a tech from 1980s... things have to be really bad for russia..

I was going to make a snarky comment about Russian tank technology advancing all the way to 1980, but it turns out if Russia could produce a modern tank that doesn’t have to be towed to the battlefield, this would be progress! Best of luck, Ivan.

Taking it for reverse engineering.... You act like they didn't already have them from the stock we left in Afghanistan.

I honestly do not think that the Russians will find many useful features to extract from an overpriced, expensive to run, piece of junk. Jet engine is its biggest flaw as design, satellites detect heat signatures in real time. Americans have lost their technological advantage they enjoyed since the end of WW2.

This is a unproven statement and pure speculation on the part of Megatron. The Russians captured a US-made Abrams tank and are indeed taking it to the Uralvagonzavod tank plant in Nizhny Tagil. I doubt they would reverse engineer something that was so easy to capture. Are they studying it? Of course. Exactly the same way that all governments around the world including the US, study their opponents weapons.

Reverse nothing! They are taking it apart to see where are the weak points to burn them better. 🤷🏻‍♂️

M1 Abrahams Tanks are old school, I think they were created in the late 1980’s 🤣
