#AniMatePro is shapping up to the early access release. It will likely be broken down in 2 addons. One with the productivity improvements for interacting with the timeline and another one with all the tools to manipulate and interact with the keyframes. Still looking for some animators that are work with Blender or would want to work with Blender but are missing some tools from Maya or Animbot to make the switch. Join discord and request access: #b3d

First time ever using Blender in my life, did a quick walk cycle for the Chief in Blender. Gonna use the rest of the day to figure out parent constraints. Still prefer using Maya, feels like i'm learning how to animate all over again with the new UI, controls, tools, etc. #Halo

BREAKING: SpaceXAI has released a new and improved update for Grok Build v1.0.31 This update improves the dashboard, search, subagent status labels, dock sections, paths, and cancellation messages. It also fixes an issue that caused MCP tools with long server prefixes to be silently dropped. Release Notes - Bug Fixes: • Folded subagent groups in scrollback now correctly label how many are still running versus completed. • Dashboard search and the resume picker now clearly indicate the active text field and restore list selection after search. • Dock sections no longer keep a selection highlight after you collapse them with a click. • Worktree paths no longer show an extra suffix in the header or dashboard. • MCP tools with long server prefixes are now kept instead of being silently dropped. • Turn cancelled banners now correctly name the cause instead of always saying "by user". • Long paths in headers are now always shortened to the last two components. Download Grok Build: Update to the latest Alpha release: grok update --alpha Update to the latest Stable release: grok update

Continuing development on Dusklight HD 2.0 This is a pack that fixes the mistakes of Twilight Princess HD and restores the artwork and missing detail from the original game in HD. Im also anticipating courage reborn, which will push this even further by adding PBR texture support!

We released a new public tool, 3LayersPersistence, that demonstrates 3 different persistence layers implemented in one executable. The implementation uses WMI event subscriptions, DLL sideloading, and COM hijacking in a single workflow, with the executable patching itself into proxy DLLs at runtime, allowing execution through multiple persistence paths.

Is simplifying facial rigs down to minimal controls better for animation speed, or does it strip away too much artistic freedom? 3D artist and animator Lee (𝙇𝙚𝙚🏕️) shared a preview of the upcoming #MynaRig for Maya, designed around a clear core philosophy: reducing controller complexity so animators can pose expressions in as few moves as possible. It prioritizes immediate usability while retaining automated secondary motion—like automatic eyelid movement and dynamic pupil highlight sway carried over from the Ryuryu rig. Do you prefer streamlined, low-controller facial rigs that get straight to posing, or hyper-complex rigs with full micro-control over every joint? #3DAnimation #Maya3D #AnimeDev #MynaRig

THIRTEEN MINUTES OF HOPE: MAYA FINALLY FOUND HOME 🐾❤️ Maya’s first taste of happiness lasted only thirteen minutes. She had spent an entire year inside a shelter after being abandoned by the people she once trusted. At first, she waited by the kennel door every day, watching and hoping they would return. But as the months passed, that hope slowly disappeared. She eventually stopped waiting and began spending her days curled up quietly at the back of her kennel. Then, after 365 days, everything seemed to change. A young couple arrived looking for a calm dog to share their apartment. The shelter worker explained Maya’s history and reminded them that she would need patience and time. They promised they understood. At 10:15 that morning, Maya climbed into their car. For the first time in months, there was a little spark in her eyes. But just thirteen minutes later, the shelter phone rang. “She’s too energetic,” the woman said. “She’s running around, sniffing everything, and she even jumped on the sofa. We aren’t ready for this.” By 10:40, Maya was back at the shelter. She quietly stepped out of the car as the couple hurried away without looking back. Maya turned toward the worker, her tail moving uncertainly, her eyes seeming to ask the most heartbreaking question: “What did I do wrong?” The worker refused to put her back in a kennel. Instead, Maya was given a soft chair in the office. “You did nothing wrong,” the worker whispered. “You were excited because you thought you were finally home. You ran because you were happy. You jumped on the couch because you wanted to belong. You were simply being a dog.” For weeks, they worked patiently to rebuild Maya’s confidence. Then one afternoon, an older woman named Claire walked into the shelter. “I’m looking for a dog that nobody else wants,” she said gently. “One who needs patience and understanding. I’m learning how to live alone in a big, quiet house too.” When Claire met Maya, something beautiful happened. Maya cautiously approached the kennel bars, sniffed Claire’s fingers, and gently licked them. That was all it took. Three days after taking Maya home, Claire called the shelter with tears in her voice. “Maya sleeps at the foot of my bed,” she said. “And on her first night, she ran around the house and jumped on the couch. I didn’t mind. I knew she was celebrating finally being free.” Two months later, the shelter began receiving photographs of Maya sleeping peacefully in warm patches of sunlight. Her eyes no longer seemed to ask, “What did I do wrong?” They simply said: “I’m home.” ❤️🐶
