Tata CURVV - The vibe is absolutely excellent, and it looks very mature for a production unit. 👍 Can’t wait to see it in person and drive it. Launching on 7th August, the all-new Curvv will follow Tata Motors’ strong multi-powertrain strategy and will be first available in its EV version which will soon be followed by its ICE counterpart.

Swansea has a new attraction… apparently. Swansea Council run by Welsh Labour leader Rob Stewart has opened Y Storfa, branded as “Swansea's new, large, multi-purpose community hub” in the city centre. Here is what they have on display in the children’s section. No doubt the council run schools will all be instructed to organise trips to their new indoctrination station for all the young children.

Signal versus noise podcast #4 Bonds: The Asymmetric Trade (June 17th, 2025) In this episode we talk about inflation and what appears to be the biggest asymmetric trade opportunity at the moment: fixed income. Our inflation outlook is explained in our new tenant rent report which points to slowing rent inflation for the coming months, which is a driving force that we expect will bring CPI below 2% in the near future. On the short term, the Israel-Iran hostilities and the rise in oil price from 60$ a barrel to above 70$ could lead to a short-lived rise in inflation. On a medium term, the rise in oil prices, if sustained, will be deflationary for the economy, which will have a negative impact on overall demand. The volatility in oil prices as a reaction to the developments of the conflict will likely lead to confounding inflation numbers, which will need to be scrutinized to understand the real underlying trend. The next change mentioned in the last AMA on Discord is the addition of "Mention GPTs" and a more agent-like approach to GPTs This new feature allows you to inline tag any other custom GPT, which will then be displayed as "Talking to [Grimoire/custom GPT name]". This feature also enables using different GPTs in the same conversation, taking an agents-like approach (although it seems that this feature may not work properly yet). To mention a GPT and add it directly into your conversation, simply type "@" followed by the name of the GPT. h/t to Glenn 'devalias' Grant & his amazing ChatGPT Source Watch project

On 9th June, Mageno, Kitich, and Muwingu graduated from the Nairobi Nursery to our Ithumba Reintegration Unit in Tsavo East National Park, where they will continue their journey back to the wild. Released today, enjoy our special film documenting their journey and the warm greetings they received from old friends, and new, in Tsavo. Graduations are a milestone moment in an orphan's journey back to a wild life, but it'll be at least 5 years until this trio are ready to take that next step.
