@davideckert98 Coach Schloss misses Olsen field at Blue Bell, and I get it. Disch-Fall is old turf, and it’s not great. He’s a great coach; we miss him; + he will advocate for the best facilities for his program. (And then cut your throat in the middle of the night)

This is crazy. Here are 2 fields, - One is natural grass - The other is artificial turf If you take a temperature gun and measure the temperature the grass field is 104 degrees. The artificial grass is 178 degrees “Which field do you want your kids playing on? Not to mention the smell, the reek of burning plastic. It is so disgusting” We have to stop with everything being synthetic and go back to natural I found that artificial turf can routinely get extremely hot on sunny days, often reaching 180°F The “reek of burning plastic” comes from the plastic blades polyethylene, polypropylene and rubber heating up and off-gassing For reference touching something that’s 180 degrees can cause a severe second degree burn

Scottie Scheffler also spoke about how links turf affects the ball differently to bermuda grass, in particular with how it spins: “I think one of the things that surprises us is the way turf is over here. I played in a lot of wind growing up at home. You grow up in Texas, you play in wind all the time, but the wind affects the ball differently because of the turf. This turf is a little bit spinier than the turf at home. “That was one thing that surprised me the first time I came over was certain shots that I would play at home that would work in that much wind. I kind of had to adjust a little bit to take a little bit more spin off the ball, to take more club, take more spin off, just because of the way turf is here, the ball actually comes off a little bit spinier than it does off the bermuda grass we play at home.” If you’ve ever played links golf, the strike off the turf just sounds different. There’s an extra crispness to it and it’s another reason why links golf is such a cool experience 👌

I think the fact is there are only going to be four or five of these companies that are able to raise the billions required to build the infrastructure to support these models. It's a global competition, and particularly against the Chinese right now because they're trying to beat us on AI, because the country with the best AI is gonna win all the wars. That's what's gonna happen. I think at the end of the day you want diversification in your portfolio, not just one stack. For me, I'm playing the picks and shovels. I'm building energy because you need energy for this stuff, and I'm building data centers. Now, there are different things, but right now we need more electrical power in this country beyond just data centers. We just need power because we got a booming economy.

The Jews of NYC have poured billions of dollars into organizations and the result is this. Why? Because the sane Jews of the city have no clear leader. So I'm just going to appoint myself. Here's what needs to happen: we need to accept the fact that a republican is not going to win this election. We need to get behind ONE candidate and realize that even if we don't all love him, we have an obligation to save this city and save ourselves.
