@JustinTrudeau I watch this and think 'what could have been' had voters only had the wisdom to elect Nate as leader of the provincial Liberals to take on Doug Ford. Very interesting interview. I'm really also looking forward to PM's testimony at the foreign interference commission.

@JustinTrudeau Someone should tell Trudeau that Canada is among the top 3 most inclusive countries in the world & that it is he who divides Canadians into sub-groups & creates anger for political posturing.

@JustinTrudeau Long form content is important for articulating long strings of political thought. I don’t necessarily agree with everything in this video but can agree this was a very interesting listen, and in a way, enjoyable listen. This product should be doubled down on in Canada.

Having Trudeau explain is view on why he failed on electoral reform is extremely good and new - he seems to be fairly honest here in accepting where he made mistakes, and is not overly defensive because it is one of his own MPs asking the questions. BUT the one big flaw is that he appointed Liberals to the ERRE who were clearly for PR and not aligned with his views , so Carolyn Bennett, who I greatly respect, should never have been appointed to sit as one of the Liberal ERRE members, particularly once it was clear that the Liberals would not have a majority on the committee. I have no recollection of his being so anti-PR before he was PM, as he says. That needs to be fact checked. To an outsider, it looks like the ERRE committee was set up to fail and Trudeau didn't want reform, having unexpectedly winning a majority nobody ever seriously expected.

@JustinTrudeau The housing crisis is not a crisis of a lack of housing, it is a crisis of population growth far exceeding our ability to build housing. Our economy is already too dependent on housing construction.

@JustinTrudeau Asked what he thinks was his biggest mistake/regret in 9 years, Trudeau answers "electoral reform". Talks about behind-the-scenes of it for 7 min @ 30' mark. His argument for ranked ballots was that it fosters a less divisive tone between candidates right at the nomination level

@JustinTrudeau Thx for this. What struck as the difference between this & an intrvu with a journo wasn't that it was 'softball', you clearly disagree on issues, but it wasn't an attack on said issues grounded in oppo rhetoric. It was illuminating. imo, that's what intrvu's should strive to be.
