in my opinion, this is better than the current folding phones.

Wait what 🤯 LG back to mobile business ?

LG may have exited the mobile game, but it still holds a special place in our hearts.

rip sweet prince finally got its wing

LG coming back in the phone industry

like the idea and love the innovation, i just wonder how durable this will be

This is straight-up sci-fi tech in real life 🔥 The engineering on that rollable mechanism is insane. LG was years ahead.

Is LG making a fucking come bavk? LG is the only brand that mattered to me, I was deeply shattered when they closed doors.

Can you imagine how annoying that would be if it kept expanding while you had it in your pocket?

Why? We actually needs this? Can we actually build real tech and not these gimmicky products?

Ngl, cooks the current folding phones for me

Android developers right now:

Now that's fucking cool

All this for 2 inches 😭😭🙏🏻

Do you think LG smartphones can compete with other smartphones brands right now?

This is unhinged. ...pun very intended.

I don't care what anyone says about LG, they were ahead of their time, made unique devices and innovated in ways they don't get enough credit for. Loved my LG phones. V10, V20 and V30. ❤️

LG is that one company that is always sitting around like Well what if we did .. this

Is that a phone in your pocket or are you just happy to see me

Seems like an unnecessary implementation of points of failure and complexity.

Seems like a gimmick. Not really necessary and expensive to fix if/once broken.

oh my...

Getting closer!

These kinds of devices are good in the first days. In the long run, the functionalities matter most.

I feel this wouldn't last long before it stops working

These fancy mobiles will not even last for a few months!

Wait LG still had this?! 😱 The screen rolling out looks so clean. No crease like foldables. RIP LG phones, they were ahead of time fr.

Battery be like :

WHAT?

LG really said 'scroll to expand' and built the hardware for it 😂 This looks cleaner than any foldable. Peak 'what if' tech.

they should have released it anyways! 🔥

Rollable is the first genuinely new form factor since the fold. The engineering story is not the mechanism -- it is the material science. How do you flex a polymer OLED through a tight radius 100K timesd LG owns that layer. That is the real moat.

I got excited thinking LG was dropping a new phone for a second

what in the sorcery am I looking at

I don’t know how to feel about this
