It’s wild that a $600 laptop is now a 'Trojan Horse'🤯 for services. Apple is basically playing a different game at this point. If Windows can't figure out how to stop the 'death by a thousand cuts' with ads and forced sign-ins, the Neo is going to absolutely dominate the student market and I think Neo already hit the student Market 🤔

Not just that. People who are already in the ecosystem will buy it just for value and to have a cheap and light Mac. I use a big 16” MBP and want a Neo just to have a smaller and lighter Mac for my low demand use.

honestly a great move to see by apple, up until now they charged a premium for basically every product they sell compared to the market. but the new macbook will allow so many people to make a reasonable investment into a laptop they know they can rely on for a long time.
