New way of flying between regions in Pokemon

This is obviously a ROM hack but... The placement of the regions is WRONG As you can see from this map, Hoenn is placed to the WEST of Johto, and Sinnoh is further northeast. If you want to include the Tohoak region from Pokemon Vega, that would go between Kanto and Sinnoh.

Tohoak is a really great idea, I will look into it. Vega is a beautiful game but I am afraid of introducing fakemon to this project Hoenn is a difficult question because if I rotate it on the town map I think people won’t like it, and I would have to handle the seams strangely

Sprite artist where are you, we need all pkm that know fly to have a sprite here

Thinking about testing how the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon diagonal sprites work here but they wouldn’t be the same exact art style as the follow sprites so idk

Maybe if the distance traveled is really large, the sprite could be a different/faster Pokémon.

The speed stat of the pokemon should affect how fast this is. (just to torment speedrunners) Nothing too drastic just enough to make a difference.
