We’re headed to Springfield today with a clear message: stop protecting billionaires and start funding our schools. If there is money for tax breaks, then there should be plenty of money for classrooms. Educators are mobilizing to pass legislation to tax the rich, and fully fund Illinois schools. Because our students should be the priority, not an afterthought.

Ontario's schools need more adults. We need more EAs and more educators in our schools to keep students safe and help them learn. Children in Grade 6 were in Kindergarten when the Ford government took office. EQAO scores are on their watch, and this government is failing our kids. That is why Ontario-Liberals are calling on the Ford government to invest $1 billion in new education funding so boards can hire the staff students rely on every day. Students should not have to pay the price for underfunding. It is time to give them the support they deserve.
