The kids are never going to believe us. I am in a state of mourning the world we grew up in, which sounds dramatic but it’s true. I’m so freaked out by all the cameras and phones when I see these old clips.

When I see stuff like this, I cannot stop thinking about how much better it really was, how many of these people had different fates, and how many of them passed away.

Translation: all it takes is 26 years to lose a country. I was at Times Square all night on 12/31/99. I went to the city countless times around this time. I just spent our 250th birthday watching the tall ships on the Hudson. It’s not the same. NYC no longer feels like America. Why? The people.

The Twin Towers stood tall. No electronic devices in sight. Zero awareness of the devastation on the brink of hitting with September 11th and the bulldozing effects of digital life. The relative innocence of this video brings me to tears. God what I would give to go back, to find some way of putting the genie back in the bottle. I will never stop grieving this lost world.

That’s because NYC has the best mayor ever during that period. See the Mayors of New York timeline. Rudolph Giuliani was the mayor of New York City in the year 2000. He served as the 107th mayor from January 1, 1994, to December 31, 2001.

Intentionally destroyed from within by Americans working against us and serving the globalists.

Realizing that the year 2000 was 26 years ago hits on an existential level. In our heads, 2000 will forever feel like "10 years ago," but we are literally closer to 2050 now. 👴⏳

Sometimes I feel like I slipped into some time portal in the early 2000s that put me on to this current timeline. When I see videos like this, its hard to believe that I lived in that era. Take me back!

Racially homogenous. Well-dressed. Orderly. The world you grew up in no longer exists.

I remember visiting NY in 95, loved it, such excitement, characters on every corner. All gone, same back here in Ireland self obsessed people ignoring the people in front of their faces. smartphones have done more to change human behaviour than the previous millenia

The magic of New York is that it somehow feels forever unchanged, yet forever changing.
