ah he's a genius- you can technically quantify bts the group, bts the brand, by how much money they make, by the economic impact they create, but that isn't what makes bts BTS. and we've said it so many times, you can copy bts' every move and it still won't give you the same results, because what makes bts unique, what their real essence is, is their bonds with each other. the many trials they've weathered together for all these years with army, THAT isn't able to be replicated. and the people who look in from the outside can pull out numbers or career milestones and have one part of bts, but they don't know the whole of them.

this man also worked with bts (translation isn’t mine): “So, how did I end up filming a commercial? It was with BTS and Oreo. Each member arrived in a Bentley. With a driver, of course. Tons of security, a studio - everything. Staff covered up everyone’s phones and made us sign contracts saying we couldn’t film, make a sound, breathe, anything. We walked onto the set, each of us was handed an Oreo cookie, and then BTS came out and stood next to us. We filmed the first shot together, and the camera pulled back from the one of them, so I ended up standing right beside them. Then we did the dance scenes, wrapped up, and I thought, I definitely got the most out of this shoot. I won’t talk about the pay - it doesn’t matter whether it was a lot or a little. The important part is that I met every member of BTS, shook hands with each of them, and chatted a bit. They asked me, ‘So, where are you from?’ I said, ‘Russia. You?” They laughed and asked, ‘Do you know Korean?’ I said, ‘No.’ They were like, ‘Why not? You live in Korea but don’t know Korean?’ So I replied, ‘Well, why is it that only one of you speaks English?’ We joked around, laughed for a bit, and they were like, ‘Alright, alright, fair enough.’ I said, ‘Guys, it was great meeting you. Thanks for this opportunity and for your time.’ I gave everyone a hug and even got to shake hands with your idols.”

🧠About the iHeart and "losers" comments: ✨️You can’t complain about the industry disrespecting BTS while STILL portraying them as powerless rookies who have no say in their own career.✨️ Here’s the thing: the way people in this industry talk about ARMY and BTS while benefiting MASSIVELY from both is disgusting. We know that. I posted like 6 times that I don’t even understand why BTS agreed to do that iHeart festival. BUT this guy wouldn’t even have needed to mention BTS or ARMY if ARMY hadn’t started spreading lies in the first place. BTS WERE NOT CUT. They literally spoiled 4 songs hours before the festival. They were there under contract. It was planned. I, and so many other people told you that! But instead of simply saying, “BTS, I didn’t like this. I wish you’d chosen a longer set,” y’all invent someone else to blame because you’re terrified of criticizing your own faves and keeping victimizing them all day. “BTS ARMYs are losers.” “Jin Kook, or whatever his name is.” First of all, let’s get one thing straight: the anger was NEVER about how much time BTS got. We’re not five-year-olds throwing a tantrum because our favorite people didn’t get enough screen time. We know BTS are grown men with packed schedules, and THEY decide how much they want to show up. That was never the issue. The issue was the shitty microphones, the absolutely embarrassing way they were brought in and taken out, and the complete lack of basic respect and professionalism toward one of the biggest artists on the planet. But YOU sitting there on your little unknown show, with your equally unknown friends, talking about BTS and ARMYs like THAT? And calling millions of people “losers” while going “Jin, Kook, or whatever his name is” because apparently learning the names of the people you’re discussing was too much work? 😭 And let’s talk about the funniest part: you literally put BTS footage in your video while claiming you’re “not using them.” BABE. You are using their images, their names, their performance, their fandom, their relevance AND their fanbase to generate engagement for your own content. 😭 You don’t get to drag BTS for attention and then pretend BTS has nothing to do with why anyone is watching your clip. And honestly, the fact that you think ARMY being loud online somehow gives you permission to disrespect an entire fandom is hilarious. You can call individual tweets cringe. You can criticize online behavior. Nobody is stopping you. But turning that into “BTS ARMYs are losers” because you want a cheap punchline is just lazy. And BTS? You don’t have to like them. You don’t have to know their discography. You don’t even have to know who Jin or jungkook are, apparently. But if you’re going to put their faces on your screen, talk about them for content, and use their name to get attention, maybe show the tiniest bit of respect while doing it. Because let’s be brutally honest: if BTS were as irrelevant as you’re pretending they are, you wouldn’t have needed them in your video in the first place. 🤭 So thank you for the free ARMY promotion, I guess.
