Sheriff Nanos answered within the time allotted. The Board has no legal authority to remove Sheriff Nanos since he answered timely. One member asked for him to be removed. That motion was not seconded, thus that's the end of that. The Board will ask the Arizona Attorney General to review potential perjury charges. We shall see where that leads. Sheriff Nanos will stay and I don't see the recall election moving forward. It was interesting that some members seemed to like him (jmobservation) and pointed out the personal nature of some of the allegations. Also, barely anyone was present from the public, from what we could see. Seemingly no public outrage. Nanos is elected. The people wanted him.
