Anderson on his time with Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United: Anderson & Rio Ferdinand 🗣️ Rio Ferdinand: "You signed for Manchester United and you had the same agent?" Anderson: "The same Jorge Mendes, yes." Rio Ferdinand: "And then when you're there, Cristiano says, 'You can come and live with me to help you'?" Anderson: "Yes, he took me in. It was me and Nani inside his house." Rio Ferdinand: "You and Nani lived with him? Yes, I remember that." Anderson: "I remember it because he took us in like brothers. That guy looked after us. He looked after us." Rio Ferdinand: "Wait, he was cooking... he was cooking for you?" Anderson: "He cooked... he cooked for me!" (Both laugh) "He looked after us so well. I have to say thank you." Rio Ferdinand: "But he was young as well! He was 20, he..." Anderson: "He bought the food, and you had to help at the supermarket. He'd say, 'Come on, yeah.' He needed help buying..." Rio Ferdinand: "So you used to go to the supermarket?" Anderson: "Yes, yes. I had to go. So me and Nani... one week you have to pay for the supermarket and then another week... because we were living free in his house. He was bringing us to the training ground every day. Come on, Rio..." Rio Ferdinand: "Did you give money for petrol or not?" Anderson: "No, no. No!" (Both laugh) "At that time, Cristiano Ronaldo was much bigger than us. That guy looked after us so much. Not just him — you, Evra, everyone." Rio Ferdinand: "Nani, Ando, Cristiano... always arguing. I remember in the changing room after training or before, I would hear you shouting. And I'd go, 'This is aggressive, what's happening?' Then one of you would go, 'Rio, what about this?' And I'd answer, and one of you would go, 'See! I told you! I told you!'" (Laughs) Anderson: "Because Ronaldo doesn't like to lose." Rio Ferdinand: "Yeah, Ronaldo doesn't like to lose." Anderson: "Yeah, Ronaldo doesn't like to lose. Remember when we played ping pong — him, me, Nani... 'Come on, Rio, come on!' He's mad! He wouldn't talk to us for two days, bro. Two days he wouldn't talk to me. Some people don't believe it, but I used to smash him sometimes. Did I smash him? Yeah." Rio Ferdinand: "Sometimes. Ronaldo played very well." Anderson: "Yes, he's good." Rio Ferdinand: "He's the best player in the group, but when you win..." Anderson: "We'd go crazy, we'd go crazy. We'd start to fight. He wouldn't talk to me for one day, bro. Is that Ronaldo?" (Both laugh) "What the f***. Because he called me Vivinho. He didn't call me Ando. Ronaldo called me Vivinho, I called him Costaleta. I'd say, 'What's happening, Costaleta?' Vivinho... you know how it is."

This man was criticized for expecting a “thank you” for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. It didn’t matter whether it was raining or snowing, or hot out. Whenever I drove past him he always looked miserable and I could tell he didn’t like to walk all the time. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. He agreed and we chatted on the way home, nothing serious just pleasant conversation. I dropped him off and went on my way home. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. He then gave me excuses for why I was being a jerk because I was making him walk in the cold. I didn’t argue I just told him I helped him out when I could, but I wasn’t about to go out of my way because he didn’t have a car and besides I didn’t want to be late for work. He didn’t speak to me for the rest of the semester because of it, something tells me I was better off not offering to help in the first place.

I first met Saud Abdulhamid on my very first trip to Riyadh. Saudi Arabia. I had gone there to see Odion Ighalo, back when he was still playing for Al Hilal. That day, I was standing outside the training ground, just waiting, taking everything in. Then suddenly, a beautiful white G-Wagon pulled up. The windows were fully tinted, so you couldn’t see who was inside. For a moment, I was convinced it had to be Ighalo. As the window rolled down, I got ready to greet him—only to be met by Saud, flashing his trademark smile. He waved at me, and I waved back, even though, truthfully, I had no idea who he was at the time. Not long after, Ighalo arrived, and we headed into the training ground. That’s when I properly met Saud, along with his brother. We had a brief chat before training started, and that was the beginning. Our paths crossed again when Saudi Arabia played Nigeria in a friendly match in Portugal. After the game, in the middle of the crowd, I heard someone shout, “Ighalo!”—it was Saud. From there, we stayed connected, following each other online, keeping in touch in our own way. Then came another reunion, this time in Lens, inside his small but tastefully furnished apartment in the heart of the city. Back then, things were still uncertain for him. He wasn’t playing regularly, but I remember him telling me clearly that he wanted to stay in Europe, stay with Lens, and fight for his place. There was a quiet determination about him. I could feel it. And today, looking at his journey, that belief has paid off. He has grown into an important player for the club, playing his part in helping them secure a Champions League spot. He’s become one of Saudi Arabia’s biggest ambassadors in Europe. And life keeps moving forward. He just got married too. Big congratulations to you, my brother. My next video will be dedicated to him. What a guy!

One of the most productive engineers I know cannot read code. Matt Van Horn is not an engineer by training. He co-founded June, has 44,000 GitHub stars, and got contributions merged into Go & Python. I had him build live for an hour & walk me through his process. My fav lessons & quotes from the convo: 1) He never reads code. He does not have an IDE installed. In his words, "I fundamentally believe that very soon no humans should ever write any code and that no humans should ever read any code." 2) Every project starts with the agent writing itself a plan.md file using Compound Engineering. Agents are lazy, he says, and the plan keeps them honest. He never reads the plan either. "Plans are for agents, you silly human." 3) His CLIs leave notes for themselves. Each run records what it learned in a markdown file, so the next run starts where the last one ended. He calls them self-healing. 4) His agent has an email address. From Telegram on his phone, he sends a task. It emails his Mac, authenticated, and the work starts while he is at his kids' soccer practice. 5) He feeds whole transcripts, not summaries. After a two-hour meeting with a Google Ventures researcher, his agent read the researcher's entire book, wrote itself a report on every chapter, and turned it all into a plan for his business. 6) Him yapping to his agents is like nerd ASMR. "Go agent go" is how he likes to finish telling the agent what to do. 7) How he thinks about this next chapter of building: "Every generation of tools moves the engineer's job up a level. The code was never the point. The problem was."

The father got kicked out by police after he got too emotional…. According to the father andrewcoxsr on IG I debated posting Part 2 because it doesn't paint me in the best light. I'm frustrated. I'm emotional. That's real. I'm not posting this for sympathy, and I'm not asking anyone to pick sides. I'm posting because I've seen so many comments saying, "The police were called... he must've been belligerent." Here's what actually happened. We went to crunch east brunswick My son didn't have ID. I offered his Genesis student profile to verify who he was. They insisted on a physical ID. I asked to speak with a manager and was told he was with another customer. So I said, "No problem. If it's that important, have him come see me when he's done," and my son and I went to work out. The next time I saw the manager... he arrived with police. What bothered me wasn't the policy. It was that my request for a conversation with a manager was never honored before things were escalated. By the time I'm walking towards that front desk I'm frustrated because I still hadn't spoken to the manager I'd requested. In the clip, he says I was asked to leave. I immediately asked the employee who checked me in if he had actually asked me to leave. His answer wasn't "yes." That's why I kept asking. Was I frustrated? Absolutely. Could I have handled parts of it better? Probably. But I wasn't threatening anyone. I wasn't looking for a confrontation. I was trying to have the conversation I'd asked for from the beginning. I'm also not responsible for assumptions people make because I'm a 6'0" man with a larger build. Existing while physically imposing isn't the same as being aggressive. Watch it. Agree or disagree. That's your choice. I just ask that you judge what you actually see-not what you assume happened before the camera started.

Nanon's life as a movie 🎬 #KatanyuPodcastxNANON #mynameisnanon 🗣️: If you have to compare your life to a movie, what would it be? 🪐: A movie? If for this period, it's 'Gran Turismo'. 🗣️: ...I haven't watched it. Only know the title. 😂 🪐: 😅 How about 'Baby Driver'? 🗣️: Baby Driver... Still no 🤣 🪐: 😅😅 ------ 🗣️: Why Gran Turismo? 🪐: It's about collecting points to up level. // (he used the gaming term) 🗣️: Like in training, preparing for the next step? 🪐: Yes. Collecting experiences and also mistakes. If I ever reach the goal and be the one who sprays champagne 🥂, it would be great. 🙂 That's why I compare my life to Gran Turismo... But I'm trying to think... There might be other movies that better fit.. 🤔 🗣️: How about you let me guess? 🪐: Ok. 🗣️: 'The Truman Show'? 🪐: ....You watched my interview, right!? 🗣️: 🤣 I know too much?? 🪐: Truman is more like the real story of my life. 🗣️: You seem to be 'watched' all the time. 🪐: I have been under the spotlight... 🗣️: I understand. It started since you were young too like from 3 years old. The feeling must be similar. 🪐: Yeah. Can you imagine? I used to have nightmare... 🗣️: What kind of nightmare? 🪐: That a group of antis were putting cameras in my face and when I tried to run away, they ran after me, kept filming me. 🗣️: Oh... 🪐: The nightmare (was so scary that it) woke me up. 🗣️: Having been working for many years, you must feel like you are always surrounded by the crowd. 🪐: I'm being watched. That's what I feel. I know very well it's the thing I have to trade off but for me there is a line. A line (that one side) I'm ready to open for public and the other side I prefer to keep it private. Let me have some space to live my life so that I can work (peacefully) and everyone can enjoy my works. It's better to let me have that small area to try and struggle on my own. After I realize what lesson I have learned from that part, I will come out and tell everyone what I saw and how hurt it was. I will tell it all through my work and you will eventually know what I have experienced, how was I hurt, and how did I live in each period of my life. Because every piece of my works always contain a part of me. No matter what the work is. -------- 🗣️: I think of a movie (that matches Nanon's story) with someone playing drum... 🥁 🪐: Oh! Whiplash. Yeah, kind of. 🗣️: You're collecting point to up your level. 🪐: Up level, struggling, fighting against myself... It's also fighting against surrounding, society, system. Fighting against the world. 😂 🗣️: Um... 🪐: Yeah ------- 💪❤️‍🩹

Today, aside a Christian brother giving me free food, something genuinely beautiful happened to me again, and it left me thinking, if only we were this religiously tolerant, Nigeria would be a far better place. I live in a block of four flats. I am the only Muslim, the other three residents are Christians. Two of which are married, one is a bachelor like me, hustling and figuring life out. One of my closest neighbors is Isaac. We live on the same floor. He is married with two kids, in his late 30s, while I am in my 20s. We talk a lot and we banter endlessly about politics and football despite our age gaps. I am a die-hard Barca fan, he is a Madrid fan. I am Pro-El-Rufai, he was a Peter Obi supporter, who is now tilting towards Tinubu in the next election. So you can imagine, there is always something to argue about between us, and we enjoy it, but what we both agree on is Tinubu didn't treat Mallam fairly (Although he believes Mallam should have handled it better, I always told him it’s because he didn’t know the background that’s why he think so). So, Yesterday we were discussing Christmas plans. During Eid, I hosted a barbecue in my apartment, so we were talking about how Christmas would be done in his place. He told me he would like to invite me over to eat Christmas food with his family. I gladly accepted because I am somebody that loves to party, and every christmas since in the Uni we go out and have. A few moments later, since he mentioned that he bought a ram, I hesitantly explained to him that while I could eat the food, I could not eat the ram (I hesistated because I didn't think he will get me). He paused for a moment and asked why. I explained to him that in Islam, certain prayers must be recited before an animal is slaughtered for the meat to be permissible. Eating meat from an animal slaughtered without those prayers is not allowed in Islam. He then asked out of curiosity, why I would eat the chicken but not the ram. I explained that the chicken is carton chicken with a halal tag, and I even showed him what the tag looks like. He was surprised. He said he had always seen the halal label but never knew what it meant. We both laughed about it. From his reaction, I could tell that the explanation about prayers before slaughtering an animal did not really make sense to him, but what mattered was that he respected my beliefs and did not try to push or argue. We simply changed the topic and moved on. Early in the morning today before, Isaac called me and asked me to come downstairs. When I did, he asked me to slaughter the ram and perform the prayers so that I could comfortably join them for the evening barbecue, since his religion doesn't have limitations over that. I was honestly shocked and deeply impressed. In that moment, I thought to myself, if only more people were this respectful and tolerant of other people’s faith, Nigeria would be a much better place. (It was later in the day that I saw Bashir Ahmad, OON’s post of Albani, that you can actually eat the meat even if it wasn’t slaughtered by a Muslim) The point I am trying to make here is, an average Nigerian Christian would have taken offense the moment I said I could not eat his meat, all he will hear is AVERSION, without respect for my faith and beliefs but not Isaac, he chose to respect my faith, and choices without taking offense. Surprisingly, Isaac is from Plateau State. He was born and raised in Delta, lived briefly in the UK, and then returned to Nigeria. I am writing after dancing “Oble.....Obleee.....Obleeeee” in my compoud with my christian neighbors. Nigeria will be a good place to live if we learn to tolerate one another and genuinely respect our differences.

Kuno is gone. My heart hurts so badly. But I'm finding that sharing his memories with all of you makes it feel a bit easier. I suppose part of me thought that with him gone, there would be no reason for many of you to keep following. But I'm so glad you are because you're helping me get through this. Something Kuno taught me is that I do belong, and I have just as much right to participate in things and be out in the world living my best life as anyone else does. It's a good thing he was there to do that because the message I often got from people was that I don't. We have a local business that is extremely popular and highly inaccessible. I remember trying to go there shortly after we first moved here, not realizing there was no entrance someone like myself could get into. There was a line up outside and I rolled back and forth a few times before someone said "I don't think there's a way for someone like you to get in." I'm sure they didn't mean their words to hurt but I immediately felt out of place, like I didn't belong there and I was embarrassed. It wasn't just the feeling of shame because I wasn't able to get in, it was that everyone else in line was welcome and they all knew I wasn't. To this day, if I roll past there and there's a line up outside, I still feel like I need to hang my head in shame. Unfortunately, that's not an isolated incident. A study last year showed that in many Canadian cities, less than half of buildings the public typically go to are accessible. I'm fairly certain that if I was by myself, I'd have just stopped going out in the world and been limited to the mall and movie theater. The feeling that I didn't belong would have grown into the belief that I don't belong. Kuno didn't let that happen. Instead he helped me find the confidence to speak up. In physical rehab they taught me nothing about life without being able to walk. They taught me how to transfer in and out of the wheelchair and that's about it. They didn't teach me how to cope with heavy, awkward doors, snow filled curb ramps, skinny restaurant aisles, how to find accessible housing, how to deal with never going to anyone's house again, or how to deal with people treating me differently and awkward stares and uncomfortable comments. Kuno taught me all that. We've come so incredibly far. Everything I'm capable of is the result of him. It all stems from things I did with him, for him or because of him. And now he's gone. But I'll get through this. He wouldn't have left me unless he knew I could. He was my partner and team mate. He was a source of wisdom. Many times I just had to trust him to get us around safely. Most of all, he taught me that I could still have fun, laugh, play and enjoy life even if I was in pain, socially isolated or lacking confidence. Our life together wasn't easy. Disabilities aren't easy. But he made my life good. So for a little while, expect me to share Kuno memories while I cherish his big paws and giant heart. And when Chesnyy finishes her typing course, I'll let her take over where he left off. 🐾💔 Video description for inclusivity: kuno the Servicerottie stands with his front paws on his balcony railing on a winter day. I think it’s time to talk about it 🙂‍↕️ I was delaying it because the scene messed me up in every possible way. From the moment he entered the room panting in anger, to the moment he subconsciously hid her behind his back to protect her when he heard the Kordağlıs were coming. When he entered the room like that (and he even knocked, but… since when does Serhat knock? 🌚), he scared her, because a part of her knew exactly how crazy this would make him. Because despite everything he did, despite the divorces and all the silence, she always knew he cared. And hell… he DID 😭 Serhat shouting “You can’t marry” in the same place where he once told her “It’s your life, I’m not responsible for it”??? C I N E M A! Yıldız gasping, crying, trying to catch her breath while arguing… #BiranDamlaYılmaz , you did NOT have to be this perfect 😭 When she said “Bir kere sen çıldır, yeter,” she was at her limit. There was that tiny second of silence while she was desperately gasping, and he just looked at her, helpless, not knowing how to save both of them from this mess. Y: You gave up on me. S: No, YOU gave up on me. With all disrespect… Sir??? I know he didn’t mean to hurt her, I know he was hurting too, but accusing HER of giving up, when from her POV he is the one who let go? She is the only one living in uncertainty from day one. He can’t expect her to read his mind. When she asked him to say he didn’t give up on her… imagine his position. Everything she said, he wanted to agree with. “I didn’t give up on you. I remember kissing you. I was about to divorce Melek and marry you.” He was swallowing everything, suffering in silence, because in his mind saying that would be selfish. He was still trying to avoid that red zone. NOW. THE MIRROR SCENE. First of all, why is no one talking about how he grabbed her with ONE HAND without even looking at her? He knew exactly where she was. Her surprised gasp?? His husky voice??? #ilhanşen canım abim, if you continue like this, Serhat will be the last character I watch from you because I will ascend to heaven. Have mercy on me big boy 🌚 Making them watch themselves in the mirror was WILD, Ercan hocam. If the scene was 100% intense, the mirror made it 10000%. His hand on her waist, her looking so tiny. His other hand slowly moving her hair. His face on her head next to her ear, sniffing her scent, looking… lustful, angry, desperate. The mix of desire and rage in his eyes??? EXCUSE ME??? He didn’t even touch the tattoo on her chest. He was locking her in place, making sure she couldn’t escape (as if she could). When he turned her around, he kept her trapped in his arms. He wasn’t testing her. He KNOWS she loves him. He was trying to speak without words. “This is what I feel. I messed up. But this is what I want.” But she needed words. She DESERVED words. He definitely was going for a kiss , and she pulled away. Because she is angry. Hurt. M convinced her she is a burden, and he never denied it with words. His silence confirmed everything in her mind. When he closed his eyes in that silence, realising that by trying to protect her with silence, he destroyed her AGAIN! Her cracked voice saying, “You still didn’t say you didn’t give up on me,” I wanted to hug her and cry until sunrise 😭 Then she put her strong mask back on, telling him not to enter her room like that, because she will soon be engaged💔 And btw, I’m 100% sure if it wasn’t for the Kordağlıs, he would NOT have left without kissing her. In my head, they kissed. There is no universe where Serhat left that room untouched after that tension. I tried my best to write with my sanity on! Just an advice 👀 try to catch ilhan’s panting in the beginning 🤤 they are delicious🫦 I know it turned out to be too long but the scene is quite long and full of details. I am sure I still can talking about it with another essay🤣 but I won’t don’t worry. #HalefKöklerinÇağrısı #Yılser

I had a dream the last couples of months, a dream that kept me fighting, enduring, training, a dream that helped me to find a way to connect to tennis, my dream was to win a medal in my home country Olympic Paris 2024 A dream that looked impossible from the outside, knowing my last months results. But dreams are what give us life and energy. I needed to dream. I was aware my level was not at his best, my confidence and fitness neither but I had one goal, which was too give my 100% everyday while competing on court in front of the amazing French fans! I’m very disappointed with my finals results, I wish I could have make the Olympic dream be alive longer. I have to accept I was not good enough, my different opponents were better than me on those matches. Still, I gave it all, and as a reward I had an unforgettable experience with the crowds, a connexion so strong and so powerful, that I never felt before. It gave me energy, it fired something inside me again. I showed a face, a determination and fighting spirit again that was switched off. I found the light again on a tennis court. Very grateful to have experienced the magic of playing for team France, in Paris in front of a packed and enthusiast crowd, cheering me on, from the first to last point regardless of the score! As an individual athlete, it means a lot to be part of a team, to have a country behind you and feel that you play for something else than just your personal goals. Let’s see what the future brings us, but I think that even though the results were not what I wanted, maybe in a few months I can say that Paris was after all, a great success for myself. Diane Parry it was a pleasure and honor to get to share this experience with you. I hope it’s not the last time and I wish you all the best in your career 🫶🏻 EdouardRogerVasselin as always, I had a great time with you on court. All the best for the rest of the season! Merci France, je t’aime 🫶🏻 Let’s meet again in Roland Garros next year for some fun together 🔥

NEW: 2028 5⭐️ SF Evan Willis (The.Evan.Willis) has received his official offer from Kentucky, he tells me! I’ve personally been very high on Evan, I currently have him #2 in 2028, without a doubt the best defensive player in the class, and his offensive game combined with his athleticism is coming along very quickly at a high level. He told me a really cool fact: “I lived in Lexington when I was a baby, 🤣 actually took my first steps there 😅” Evan always very respectful, nicely agreed to take some time to answer a few questions for BBN! This is a big one to watch Kentucky fans, show him love! 👇🏻 Q: Who reached out from Kentucky, how’d the conversation go? EW: Coach Pope and Coach McClean reached out. It was a great conversation. They told me how they see me fitting into their program even right now because they’ve seen my growth in a short amount of time. It was cool hearing that from a school like Kentucky. Q: What were your initial thoughts after you received your offer? EW: My first thought was gratitude. Kentucky is one of those schools every basketball player knows about, so getting this offer means a lot. It motivates me to keep working because I know nothing is guaranteed. Q: Is there anything specific about the school, or the staff in general that makes you more interested in Kentucky? EW: I like the tradition and the culture they have. They’ve developed a lot of great players, and you can tell the coaches really believe in their guys. I appreciate that they see me as someone with NBA potential and they were genuine when stating that. #BBN #KentuckyBasketball

BACK STORY: A teacher friend told me this story about teaching kids words with different suffix examples and when he asked his students for words ending in “an”, a grade one student said “lesbian”. No big deal but the writers and I thought it would be funny to run with that a bit. So we wrote the cold open as you see in the photos of the script. On the day of filming, two of the writers, Shebli Zarghami and @Jessie_Gabe came to me and suggested we add “words that end in “on”-prostitution”. So I ran with that and the kids and I improvised what you see in the scene. At that point, we were done with the scene and very happy about it. In my opinion, what Jessie and Sheb suggested next is what made the scene go viral BUT, we were too late because they thought of it AFTER, we had already shot (videoed) the kids. I spoke with Keith our director and suggested it was worth grabbing a wild line (no camera) of adding one more word suffix and joke that Jessie and Sheb thought of: “Words that end in “re”- crack whore”. It would be take too much time to turn all the cameras around to shoot Faith saying two works (crack whore) but I thought the line was so funny, that it was worth grabbing it. So we did and the that’s why you don’t see Faith saying the line but for me, it took the scene to another level. On this show, we always added lines on the day from anyone who had them, especially the writers. We wrote great scripts but sometimes we found these little moments on the day of filming that added to the scene. We never stopped looking for the funny and in this case the instincts (and comedy) of Jessie and Sheb took this scene to another level!! #MrD

Thank you to everyone who played a part in my journey, from my Charlton days as a kid through to my last time playing football at Bromley. From the age of 8 football has been my life, it’s given me a lot, and I have also given it a lot back. In fact I’ve given it everything. It’s for that reason that I can write this looking back over my career with no regrets. Do I wish certain things went better? Without a doubt. A lot of things. I once scored an own goal from 30 yards out. I certainly wouldn’t mind deleting that from history. But were these bad or difficult moments ever because of a lack of effort? No. Like I said, I gave football everything. Everyday. And I guess I’m writing this because I can see that’s getting lost a bit these days. I don’t know if it’s social media painting a certain picture of what a footballer looks like, but I want to be clear, behind the scenes these top players train like their life depends on it. Alexis Sánchez, wow. Every training session he trained like it was his last. The ones that don’t, they fall by the way side eventually. Even when they’re really, really good. I’ve seen it happen to too many young pros and scholars, trying to make a name in the game. Apply yourself everyday, listen to your coaches and learn from the players who have already been where you want to get to. Because if you don’t make it, and it’s because you got carried away with yourself, it’ll be a heavy burden to carry later in life. I suffered a lot with confidence throughout my career, which I found strange because my Dad always backs himself to the hilt. I saw loads of people, to try and unlock something within me and find that inner belief. “Take the chains off” Arsène Wenger would say to me. “I’m trying boss”, I would say to myself. But I’m certain it was that same insecurity that gave me the drive I have, that would make me run harder and train harder than everyone else. Ultimately that’s what gave me a career at the top level, because physically I was a machine and I took a lot of pride in that. Was the way I am a blessing or a curse for me? A bit of both I think. But you can only play the cards you’re dealt and try and make the best of them. I’m writing all this because I hope some young players might read it. You guys have so much confidence these days! I wish I could nick some of it and take it back in time, but confidence without application and having that fire in your belly to improve everyday won’t get you far. I see less young players doing extras, working on their craft, doing extra running after training. Trust me, you won’t have a career if you neglect this aspect. Try and find the sweetspot. That’s why I love guys like Bukayo Saka. He’s got that swagger, but you only need to listen to him in a post match interview to see he’s never lost his humility. Find the sweetspot. Hopefully the above has some value to someone out there. I didn’t want to write the generic retirement ‘thanks for everything’ post as it seemed like a missed opportunity. Although of course I am very grateful to my friends, family, coaches, managers and of course the fans who have been with me on my journey. I’m looking forward to seeing what life has in store for me next. Cheers, Jenko

My response to James White’s calls for me to be doxxed: Earlier today on the Dividing Line, 𝔚𝔥𝔦𝔱𝔢𝔅𝔢𝔞𝔯𝔡 spent about five minutes talking about how vile of an anon I am, based on a recent tweet, which was a joke at his expense. If you’d like to see what I said, I spliced it into the video below at the appropriate time, but essentially James White was imagining out loud the grin on Doug Wilson’s face while Doug wrote about the Corey Mahler debate. I said that James needed to start using the “no homo” disclaimer. I’m sure he doesn’t know what that means, but it’s very common slang among men. “Don’t be so gay” is what I was saying. I’ve also mocked his shirts and sweaters in a similar way. It obviously annoys him. Whatever. James White referred to this tweet as “sexual innuendo,” which is not correct. I was not insinuating that he and Doug Wilson are a gay couple. It was a joke. Did it cross the line? I don’t think so. Did it walk right up to the line? Maybe. But keep in mind that James White didn’t know what TLDR meant without looking it up. He’s a bit out of his element on 𝕏. Stuff goes over his head. So then, James brought up the Treble Woe situation. Woe had some very sexually explicit posts get revealed and shared on 𝕏. There was talk of anal sex and all sorts of other things, which no one approves of including me. I defended Woe from those (like White) who were demanding re-repentance, basically a pound of flesh. I didn’t think that was biblically warranted. But James said today that my tweet was comparable to what Woe said! That’s literally insane. I don’t talk that way. I’ve never talked that way. But since James didn’t actually say what I said, everyone will just believe it was exactly like what Woe said. Really nasty stuff. Very underhanded. Also very on brand. And as an aside, isn’t it interesting that James White just loves the “Hitler Hated Christ” anon account who outed Woe’s prior spicy posts? I guess all anons are equal, but some anons are more equal than others. Next, James White attempted to make a biblical argument for doxxing me, such that my church could discipline me appropriately for saying “no homo.” He believes this needs to happen so that I don’t infect my church. Here is my response to that: I am not anonymous. I am pseudonymous because of the organization I work for. But, I have an ID-verified account that is monetized, so I’m very real. Several godly men (you would know them) on this platform know who I am, and I would welcome their rebuke for anything I say, for they are dear friends. I am a faithful member (not a pastor) of a Bible-believing church. It is a dispy Baptist church that I do not agree with on soteriology, covenant theology, or eschatology. I love the people there, and they love me. I don’t bring up my unique perspectives because I don’t want to divide the church. I’m not as old as James White, but I’m older than his kids. I’ve been married for over a decade and have multiple children. I used to use a lot more coarse language on this platform, but I was convicted about that several years ago. My content is rated PG, but it’s 1980s PG if that makes sense. Most of what I do is post clips and give commentary, and I’m willing to criticize or defend anyone if I feel they deserve it. So that’s me. I’m not a monster. I’m not vile or vulgar. There’s just no evidence of that. In closing, thank you to everyone that has supported me. I hope my content will continue to be of value to you going forward. If you see anyone trying to dox me, please let me know and report them. I appreciate it. God bless.
