Arnold also took enough drugs to sedate a medium-sized country, so perhaps not the most transferable template.⠀ ⠀ The problem is simple. Each muscle here gets hit once a week. Train hard enough and you'll trigger a window of muscle protein synthesis that runs for roughly 2-3 days. After that the window closes, and the muscle fibres begin to catabolise slowly. The back half of the week isn't neutral. It's quietly eroding the growth stimulus you picked up on Monday.⠀ ⠀ Once a week is not a holding pattern. It's a losing one.⠀ ⠀ The fix is training each muscle at least twice. An upper/lower split does this cleanly.⠀ ⠀ Monday: Upper⠀ Tuesday: Lower⠀ Wednesday: Rest⠀ Thursday: Upper⠀ Friday: Rest⠀ Saturday: Lower⠀ Sunday: Rest⠀ ⠀ Same days in the gym. Every muscle getting two shots at the growth window per week instead of one.⠀ ⠀ If there's a specific muscle you want to bring up faster, glutes being the obvious example, you can push that to three times a week with a full body approach, hitting the priority muscle first in every session when you're freshest.⠀ ⠀ Monday: Full Body (glutes first)⠀ Wednesday: Full Body (glutes first)⠀ Friday: Full Body (glutes first)⠀ ⠀ More frequent stimulus. More growth windows captured. Less of the week spent sliding backwards.⠀ ⠀ The Bro Split isn't useless. It just isn't optimal. And if you're going to spend the time, you may as well spend it on something that actually works.⠀ ⠀ Minimum twice a week per muscle. Three if you're serious about a lagging group. There is not one snap from Saturday that perfectly encapsulates Ohio States defense and what Arch was dealing with. Pre-snap: 4-2-5 MOFC look, which means nothing since Patricia drops into Tampa/C2 from this look often. Post-snap: Double A gap Creeper (Mahomes) with MOFC. Versus 3x1 Gun Weak creates 4th/1st and 3 Up rules. - Boundary 5t is the 4th/1st Crosser - Field 5t is the Strong Hook - Caleb Downs is the 3 up is 3 player - Nickel is SCIF/B2b player. Caleb Downs gets #3 vertical to start the down that turns into an inside stem. The post safety that starts into the boundary identifies #3 bending back over the middle of field, and Caleb Downs is able to "Cut" him back to the post safety. Essentially the 3 up is 3 and post safety switch roles in them middle of the play. This adds layers to the coverage based off of leverage (#3 is running away from O/s leverage 3 up player, while running into postive leverage post safety). All of this is to say this new Ohio State defense is not predicated on just being talented and being chaotic, they showed an extreme grasp on techniques just in week 1.

A week later they were awarded a $1.84 Billion contract with the Air Force. 📈Just got off road from pro-day circuit and one name that repeatedly came up with NFL scouts & execs when talking about which prospects helped themselves most during Panini Senior Bowl week was Kansas' versatile, blue-collar OL Dominic Puni. Reps like this👇with fast, accurate & strong hands are extremely impressive for someone who snapped in a competitive environment for first time in Mobile. Denis Villenueve talked just a little bit about bringing Dune 3 to life at AC's Bleak Week tonight - - Denis expressed how he wanted to take a year break (at minimum) after shooting Dune 1/2 back to back, being exhausted & wanted to make a film before Dune 3 as well - Jokes that he got bored after "a couple" weeks of being back home in Canada while on break and began writing a script based on Dune Messiah - Conceptualized images of the film in his head while dreaming - Heavily emphasized how he wanted to make Dune 3 vastly different from the first two, brought up Hans Zimmer's new score as an example of something that'll be very different - Jokingly said he was tired as they're in full post production mode
