@UtuNaUzalendoKE This is utter nonsense. Each generation has done its bit to make this country better. Gen X yanked the country away from KANU’s totalitarianism in 2002. Gen X was at the centre of the fight for constitution of Kenya 2010 - the same constitution that Gen Z are riding upon today!

Somehow true! The same people who are MPs right now, and the sme people who were saying yes to every bad decision for the last 2 decades!

Scapegoating! I’m a Gen X and a Gen Z parent. None of what she says applies to me. Fellow Gen Xs have fought for good governance and against oppression. And lifted heavy for the new constitution. This Gen Z moment is not for finger-pointing at other generations and generalizing.

Being an x, I have had a rough life more than any gen Zs or Millennials could ever imagine! Reducing this healthy national debate to these Levels is kinda myopic in my opinion. Every gen have had their strengths n weaknesses. Ills are ills whether done with millennials or gen Zs.

Not true at all. I am a parent to Gen Z. That's not me she's describing. My parents were very present. The Kenyan problem is one of tribalism with some tribes being privileged. This is a narrative that MUST NOT BE ENCOURAGED.

So when you classify people like that, where are your parents or the so called bothers and sisters? Did the gate keep you from achieving? I am not under X generation but it’s good to go back to the beginning of where the rains started beating us instead of categorizing people in groups without understanding under what circumstances they were raised and what informed those that raised them.

Shiet.. Well, it's actually the older GenXers that are to blame. In any case, our contribution right now is having raised today's revolutionaries in the way that we weren't. We are the parents of GenZ

As a Gen x I can confirm that we were the most parented. As in our parents word was the law and it was final. Our opinion never counted. That's why we grew up to become submissive but as parents, we've allowed you to freely express yourselves and that's what you're doing.

This is just one aspect of it. The gains that we enjoy as a country are also largely due to the same Gen X. We didn't raise our children with the kind of hatred she's alluding to, that's why they're able to be assertive and articulate. Each generation has its +ve and -ve
