Yeah, the seeds of hiring more great design talent ~1yr ago really start to bare fruit. And very rapid changes to the UI and apps these days. It's overall an interesting aesthetic, very chunky, almost like consumer mobile but in a website. Typically not a fan, but works here.

I kinda love the aesthetic. But yeah, huge leaps in design quality out of OAI when compared to 2023.

Certainly an improvement. Feels like long term people will come to understand that the thinking is happening and won't really need to see it printed out upfront (just have access to it for reference). But this is a solid middle ground for right now to help more people have the 'a-ha' moment that comes from seeing a model reason in real time.

Exactly. It's the right amount of 'this exists, but it's not going to overwhelm you unless you want to dig in'.

what’s your thoughts on the vertical carousel between different thoughts? Some of them are a bit fast that I can’t read it The current paradigm is deepseek dumping everything in the stream output Do you know other patterns?

It's definitely a bit fast in this example. Most of the time I see it it's slow enough that I can read a bit before it changes. Haven't *really* felt like it's been too fast for what I want out of it right now.
