Nice that Black Ops 7 Campaign had everything you expect from a Cod Campaign Sniper Mission Stealth Mission Urban Combat Mission Chopper Gunner/AC-130 Mission Historical Flashback Mission Vehicle (Tank, Boat, Snowmobile) Mission oh that's right it didn't have any of that smh

It had tons of boss fights so that makes it as good as Elden Ring in my books

Thought it was a good idea that every other mission or so had that, but many of them were just tanky and the zombies stuff felt off. I think the dude with the dome shield was probably one of the better ones though.

@xFleXy_ I thought the specter 2 mission felt like the best mission and closest to a traditional campaign mission. Rest of the missions were garbage. Can’t believe that one reused SkyLine from BO6 multiplayer.

Everyone loves to bag on Infinity Ward but they’re the only studio that saves this franchise every handful of years.

Unfortunately, I think we are way past the best age of CoD. We get our hopes up every year, and they’ll ease into doing a few things right, but do 3 other things wrong for each right in the process. I don’t think we’ll get any glimpse OUR Call of Duty back unless Activision steps off a bit and allows the devs to be creative and do what they want and give them timelines that work for them, and the devs need to hire actual story tellers again. What they did to Treyarch for BO4 is what started this downhill slide. CoD is just a different game with a different formula now. I think we are far overdue for Activision to take a step back a bit, maybe take a year or 2 off and give one game continuous support in that time while the devs can work on an actual creative solution to reboot the franchise as a whole. We don’t need 20 black ops/modern warfare games, they don’t all need to run the same engine and UI, they don’t all need to be connected, and if they do post-launch support properly they don’t need yearly releases. Just let the devs be creative and listen to us and give them the time and freedom to do good.

Stealth and sniper missions went out the window when they added co op campaign. Like seriously....who went ahead with this. The only way yoj can even get a semblance of this gameplay is if you had a private server with friends.

I hate being that guy… but this is SOOOOO orbits just BO6 Year 2. And for love of god I don’t understand why we coulnt get a “BO6 Year 2 Update”, even if it was 30$, this would’ve been fine… but a FULL 80$ COD game should not look or play like this. “Dream sequence or not”, this is just hands down laziness!!! Players would’ve benefited a lot with year 2, also carry forward… I mean… look at this. I basically have all my BO6 augments in zombies??? What for??? Ohh… because its literally the same augments/perks as in BO6, but they gave us 1 extra/new one for each perk, if this coulnt have been a Year 2 idk what else to say… so so so disappointing to see cod like this imo.

I hate to say it but this was the worst campaign ever. You get drugged at the end of the first mission and are literally laying on the floor dreaming the next nine missions. It was awful. Zombies and MP are fun though.

Let me say it now, I think the campaign isn't the best honestly. But it's not the worst, but here's the thing Raven developed this campaign; not Treyarch.

Hate that you can’t save mid mission, but I started playing, got to the Nicaragua part and had to leave. Normally, if I can’t save, I’d try and finish, but I honestly was kind of wanting to stop. The campaign isn’t pulling me in, and not liking the forced co-op, and playing solo is not adjusted so it’s just grinding through enemies, yet all of your team commentary is still there, yet no characters so it’s severely immersion breaking

Black Ops was never about copying MW’s mission checklist. It’s always focused on psychological ops, conspiracies, and character-driven sequences. If you expected MW-style set pieces, that just proves you never understood Black Ops. Pretend fan.

I feel like everyone complaining about the campaign really doesn't play enough genres of games. This was a goofy fun psychological horror shooter.
