So over the years as a Content Creator for World of Warcraft, I've picked up a few great camera tricks that can make your footage look more professional. Not sure how widely known these are but I'll share some that I know and hopefully it will be helpful to someone! So firstly, let me show you how to do a smooth rotation shot. You're going to want to create a Macro for this with this script; /script MoveViewRightStart(0.15) To modify the direction, you can change the word "Right" to Left, In, Out, Up or Down. The number at the end indicates the speed of the rotation, the higher the number the faster the rotation. I tend to keep this fairly low for a nice non-sickening rotation. Now you can combine as many of these as you like. So if you wanted a smooth shot that zoomed in on your Character while rotating Right you would make a macro like this; /script MoveViewRightStart(0.15) /script MoveViewInStart(0.15) It is fun to play around with but you will also need to create a "Stop" macro. I go with a generic one like this which will stop all rotation in all directions; /script MoveViewLeftStop() /script MoveViewDownStop() /script MoveViewRightStop() /script MoveViewUpStop() /script MoveViewInStop() /script MoveViewOutStop() Another trick to get the best possible shots of areas or up close combat is to hide your Character model. This is done with a simple console command; /console showplayer To show your player character again just type it again. I'm sure there are easier ways to do this, but that's just the way I've always done it to get nice smooth footage of World of Warcraft for videos. Let me know if you have any questions or have any other cool tips to share!

I am excited to present you with a Christmas gift :P 😆😆 Our new fine-tunable generalist agent is what we call the Pangu-Agent! Our agent is fantastic - ok! It supports the following: 1. Structured reasoning via a new notion of intrinsic functions that allows you to change the internal structure of your agent to better suit your task - in fact, we think this notion is critical to scale reinforcement learning to generalisable setups. Those functions are easy to write, compose, fine-tune, nest, and do whatever you like to do with them. 2. With those, we have a framework that allows you to consider prompt engineering methods as a particular case nesting of intrinsic forms - in other words, those prompting techniques we have, ReACT, ZS-CoT and so forth, are just a particular case. Now, we can make new ones with simple lines of code. 3. All agents need to learn new skills and adapt. Agents without abilities to fine-tune are not agents. They are as good as your pre-trained LLM. Well, we now can fine-tune using three different techniques: 3.1) Standard supervised fine-tuning; 3.2) [New] Bootstrapped supervised fine-tuning (mix-n-match) intrinsic functions; and 3.3) Reinforcement learning fine-tuning [We did so many tricks here to get RL fine-tuning to work well] 4. We show awesome zero-shot transfer results without ingesting #GPT4 data. Just using open-source models! 5. We also show that you can train one cross-domain model across BabyAI and AlfWorld tasks, fine-tune with RL, and perform well in held-out tasks. 6. What is also nice is that we can now have rigorous benchmarking experimentation as well - it seems not all that is reported is what really works :P Paper: #AI #MachineLearning This work has been done by a fantastic team, which I am proud to co-lead and work with! This project has been managed by the amazing Kun Shao , who has been impressive, to say the least! Technically supervised by Professor Jun Wang, who had the view of where we needed to go and guided by Professor Hao from tech and application aspects!! Wow! Nice end of the year!!!

Le Pen presidency would be a nightmare for France. An explosive report from Mediapart, a widely respected and credible French investigative news organisation known for uncovering major political corruption has thrown the far-right National Rally (RN) party into crisis. The report revealed leaked private chat messages from Jordan Bardella, the fresh-faced young protégé of Marine Le Pen. According to the investigation, a younger Bardella was caught pushing extreme conspiracy theories and antisemitic tropes, including claims that Jewish people seek to "dominate other peoples, crush them, and rob them," alongside fantasies about a "New World Order dominated by Israel". The reaction from the far-right leadership was immediate and fierce. Jordan Bardella slammed the report as a "crude forgery" and announced plans to take legal action. Meanwhile, Marine Le Pen rushed to his defense, angrily dismissing the documented findings as "utter madness" and "dirty tricks" designed to sabotage them. For years, Le Pen and Bardella have worked hard to rebrand the National Rally. They want voters to forget the party’s dark, antisemitic and racist roots under its old name, the National Front, and view it as a modern, respectable choice. They traded out heavy jackets for tailored suits and swapped open slurs for coded language. However, whenever private archives, old messages or video’s come to light, the party's true nature bleeds through. The exact same pattern can be seen in Marine Le Pen’s long-standing, historically cozy relationship with putin’s regime and her past alignment with pro-Russian talking points. Whether these chats happened years ago or recently, the underlying reality remains clear: beneath the polished, mainstream packaging, the core ideology and instincts of the far right haven't changed at all. Le Pen: “You're nice, I haven't read it, you know very well that I've been here for hours, I absolutely haven't read what you're talking about. It seems completely delusional to me, I'm telling you flat out. I hope that all of those who are implicated will immediately file a defamation complaint against Mediapart, which appears to me to be making just crazy accusations. Do you hear me? It's crazy, there you have it. Let's move on to serious matters if I may. The ends of the I don't even know what we're talking about, actually. I don't even know what we're talking about. No, but sorry, but the prosecutor told me the most, the most that Madame told me seems so completely crazy to me, that I am absolutely convinced that a defamation action will be introduced within the minutes following this pure madness. If you don't ask me about housing, I'm going to go, you see, go to work because we're here and Madame you're doing your publicity, okay, I have no trust in Mediapart. I think that there are ways to make yourself or to manipulate people. What you are telling me, I don't believe it. There you go, I don't believe it at all, I can't be clearer than that. I don't believe it at all.” Journalist : “Did you talk about it with Jordan Bardella?” Le Pen: “But I don't even need to talk about it with Jordan Bardella, you see? I I don't even need to talk about it with Jordan Bardella, it's no, but it's not that it's not a subject, it's that it's crazy.”

$ASTS Abel Avellan on CNBC Full transcript: It is great to be speaking with you again. You've stayed very, very busy. There's a lot to get to here with you. But first, let's start with this idea of a joint venture between the largest U.S. telecom providers to add space-enabled connectivity. How will you play in that? Well, I think that's an effort to make, to divide connectivity to every American. And I basically make it in a way that is standard, available in every device, in every phone, for every carrier. And for that, that's great. It's great news, and now every American can get our service. Can you share any details in terms of that relationship and the role you'll play in it? Well, I think we are the only broadband system that is available in terms of technology to basically do hundreds of megabits per second directly to any device. This is a change of how the operators think about where the connectivity from space plays a role in your day-to-day usage of the technology. And I believe this is great news for us. We are a key enabler for this. We invented this. We did the first voice call over satellite, the first 5G connection over satellite, the first broadband connection over satellite. And just a few weeks back, we demonstrated close to 100 megabits per second for a space directly to your phone. And that's very, very unique and a very nice position to be in as we work to transform how people connect. Yeah, I want to get into that a little bit more here in just a moment. You also recently released earnings, maintained full-year revenue guidance. The thing that investors really focus on is these Bluebird satellites and how quickly you can build them and deploy them. I mean, we did see that Blue Origin, New Glenn rocket launch that ultimately ended in a failure to deploy your satellites in the correct positions and to be able to start operating and working. 45 satellites is still your plan for this year. What does that look like? It is, and we're on target. Today, we're shipping the next batch of satellites to the launch pad. We have launches approximately every month. And now it's opening. I mean, we have multiple launch providers as partners, including SpaceX. And we are very excited about what will happen during the year in terms of launches and in terms of multiple launches that we have multiple partners for doing that. Yeah, speaking of SpaceX, I was just in Alaska over the weekend, and it's incredible. You go to parts of the wilderness above the Arctic Circle. There's no roads. In some cases, there's no running water, but there is Starlink. So how do you think about this competitive landscape and this competitive environment when Starlink is looking to do direct-to-device as well? And then, of course, you have Amazon's Leo buying GlobalStar. Yeah. I think it's all revolved about the speed and capacity that you can get into the phone. What has changed the transformation that is happening in the wireless industry is that space is not just when you're in the middle of nowhere. It's when you're driving from here to the Hamptons and when your connectivity is not as good as you expected. So broadband will make a difference, making it available to absolutely every device without any change to the device and really get hundreds of megabits per second into the device. For that, you need a spectrum. You need satellites. And more importantly, you need large satellites because that's really where the tricks happen is physics. You need large satellites that have the ability to listen to the very small power that a small device putting going up to space. And that's what we have. We have over 3,800 patents and patent-bending claims on how to do that. That's what we have demonstrated. And what we're showing, we're showing up today. It's not a future demonstration. We just recently announced close to 100 megabits per second directly to a regular device. Yeah, forget energy. 1(2)

Recently I got some hands-on time with Crimson Desert and below are my first impressions as well as some of the gameplay I was able to capture. Crimson Desert is a good game, but it won’t be for everyone. I know the devs claim this isn’t an RPG, but I don’t know any other way to describe this game other than a HARDCORE action RPG. If you need the yellow paint to know where to climb this game isn’t for you. But if you love getting lost in a whimsical world with a boat load of content this game is going to be right up your alley. I think what impressed me most is the attention to detail. There’s so many little things the dev team took into consideration that I think people who enjoy being immersed into a world are going to appreciate. Even if you aren’t that person; on a basic level I think most will enjoy the game's combat. It’s fast, fluid and provides a ton of player expression with its deep skill tree. The world of Pywel is vibrant, large in scale and full of life. It’s easy to get lost off the main quest line as there’s always something to do and someone to speak to. An example being I was wandering through the open world and encountered a distressed woman seeking help. I agreed to follow her only to find out moments later she was with a gang and they were trying to back door me. That had me cracking up. I think if the open world is consistently full of fun, unique side content like that & the main quest line is fire this game has a lot of potential to impress. It’s just a shame that I didn’t get to spend more time with the main quests as I kept getting side tracked with cool stuff to do in the open world. So I can’t give you much insight into that. What I can say is after the opening section there’s NEXT TO NO tutorials in this game, the puzzles are hard & the default controls are a bit clunky. You will be getting lost and I can see that frustrating some people who aren’t interested in a challenge. That’s why I mentioned earlier that this is a hardcore RPG. It does not do a lot of hand holding. Because of that I predict you and your friends will be sharing tips and tricks similar to when Elden Ring first launched and nobody knew what they were doing. If you are a patient person and take the time to learn the game's systems I promise you will be able to put together some awesome combos that will make you feel like the main character. My biggest fear for this game is that I won't finish it. Not because it’s a bad game, but I can just tell from my brief time with it that it’s next level massive. As someone who's been gaming for 30+ years it’s very rare you’ll hear me say a game was overwhelming, but this game is. For people who lack a ton of free time I can see that being a turn off because once again the game doesn’t give much direction or tutorials outside the opening area. Not to mention this game could be big just for the sake of being big. I was curious to know how much of the content was engaging versus just open world bloat? Hard to tell because I only got a few hours with the game. I also fear that the Ai isn’t the best in this game. The Ai issues I encountered zapped all immersion away for those moments. I’m not sure if the final build will differ from the vertical slice we played, but what I can tell you is that on the build we played I wasn’t impressed by the Ai. Several times I attacked enemy camps and they never reacted to me attacking them. They just stood there and took it which made the world feel less alive. There were also times where enemies were looking dead at me just standing still as the battle music played threatening to beat me up, but they never did anything. It was 3 or 4 times I encountered this poor Ai which is a red flag for me because I only got two hours of hands on time with the game. Mind you in those two hours a good portion of it was just me working my way through the prologue and the early quests, so I didn't spend a ton of time in the open world. What I'm trying to get at is the janky ai was very noticeable. It wasn't something that took long to find. I will say when the game works it's great, but when I tell you the Ai was bad at times it was bad. It reminded me of the dumb NPC’s often found in Ubisoft open world games. I’m not looking for this to be a Souls game but I want some level of challenge in the combat. Hopefully that stuff gets patched out. That being said, I’m confident in saying this game is good. I just didn’t have enough time with it to determine if it’s good, or GREAT. Only time will tell when Crimson Desert drops on March 19th, 2026 for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. Pros —---------- - Combat makes you feel like demon - Deep Skill tree - Vibrant world - Solid voice acting - Fire OST - The little details (trust system, you can commit crimes ect.) - No Fall damage - Puzzles are creative & challenging - Game doesn’t hold you hand (some people will hate this) - You can swap in and out of 3rd and 1st person at will. Wasn’t able to explore much of how that changes the game, but it’s nice that it's an option. - EASILY over 100hrs of content (some will hate this though) Cons —---------- - Clunky controls (Default controls take some time adjusting too. I hope there’s other control schemes at launch) - Inconsistent Ai (Ubisoft bad at times. sometimes the enemies wouldn’t attack during combat or act like they never saw you) - Long load times (we were playing on PC’s, but idk the specs) - Your horse can faint & when they do traveling the large world wasn’t as fun (and I couldn’t figure out how to get him back - most likely a skill issue) - Early stamina management is OD. Early game it’s easy to drown & get tired running. I’d imagine it gets better late game, but early game it’s frustrating trying to explore. - Camera takes some getting used to in combat. Sometimes its too close and others too far. - Early arrows have no impact. Felt useless. Hoping later upgrades fix that
