Fed-up Bronx resident has had enough. She filed a formal complaint and is seeking help from her City Council member after a worker from a parked halal food truck in her neighborhood refused to sweep or clean the filth underneath and around the truck, saying it wasn’t his responsibility. Trash has been left to pile up, drawing rats and creating an obvious sanitation and food-safety nightmare, yet the business keeps operating like nothing is wrong. She also states that if a business wants the community’s money, it can at least show some basic respect and keep the area around it clean. Nobody should have to walk past smelly garbage, watch rats run, and see bugs crawl around just to buy food.

After being beaten on the ground, Martinez gets up, pulls a knife, and chases his attackers, stabbing an 18-year-old in the back. A 15-year-old also suffered a hand cut. Martinez is now facing aggravated battery and weapons charges, and the prosecutors want him charged as an adult.
