I know a guy who was a total screw up in high school. Cs across the board. He went to community college for 3 semesters in one year (Spring, Summer, Fall) and got a perfect 4.0 GPA. Super easy to do at a community college if you just show up. Now’s he’s at the best school in the state and finishing his degree. Completely doable. Messing up in high school means nothing. All schools care about when transferring is your college GPA. Just focus for that year and the whole trajectory of your life changes.

Surprised more people don't know about community colleges. Government paid for my tuition and I didn't pay a single cent. Got an associate's degree cum laude with distinction. Community colleges are cheap.

Yup, I did relatively the same thing. Sucked in highschool, went to the Marines, and could of gone to any school I wanted after the fact. My buddy went Harvard. I went with a more local school and I’m about to finish my undergrad and start my masters all for free.

Unpatched method is the way. Literally what I did. Two years in community college, remaining three years in a university. Graduated with 2 bachelor degrees: Computer Science Computer Engineering Expenses were below 30k. About 5k a year.

I may be the rare exception for this, but this did work for me to get into an ivy for grad school. Of course you have to ace everything and get good entrance exam scores. I’m my case, I just didn’t take high school seriously so community college was the only option. Then something just awoke in my mind and I was able to understand things like I didn’t before and aced everything. I would still recommend taking high school seriously and trying to get into the best school possible. For prestige, networking and opportunities.

Yes but community college or working straight out of high school and doing part time doesn't automatically give you 4 years of stranger fucking and degeneracy which is the real selling point of college.

This works to get a decent income, but no more. It definitely doesn’t work to get highly educated.
