While David Cronenberg was making "The Fly" (1986) and had to shoot this scene where Jeff Goldblum had to climb the walls & crawl to the ceiling, he remembered that there was a similar scene in Ingmar Bergman's "Hour of the Wolf" (1968). So, he watched the movie again to see how the scene must have been filmed & was amazed when he realised how simple and effective it was. "The Fly" was one of the movies that Bergman had in his VHS collection at his Home in Fårö island.

Tomboi catching up with Benjamin, who’s been by his side from tiny orphan to big bull. We rescued Tomboi nearly 23 years ago, when he was just days old. He remained in our care for the better part of a decade before reclaiming his place in the wild. By this point, the years he’s lived wild far outnumber the time he spent with us, but he has never forgotten the people who raised him or the place he calls home. He still drops by Ithumba periodically to visit Benjamin and the team. In the Samburu dialect, Tomboi means ‘boy without a father.’ It was a fitting name for the tiny orphan we rescued all those years ago. No matter how big he grows or how much time passes, Tomboi will always have his SWT family standing behind him. So Ghana Police Service allowed all these to happen to the Pastor after he was arrested and was in their Custody To the Point that he was slapped by one of the Imams Now we know what you truly stand for. You are not living up to your Moto that says “Service with Integrity” And this is not the kind of Ghana we hope the police help us build You are by these actions reminding us that truly it is never worth it Defending Ghana even as some of us called for arrest of both parties through whom all these sentiments arose. Pope Leo XIV was in Naples today for the veneration of San Gennaro and to visit the shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii. My eldest daughter Rafaella was also in Naples as she was there on a Catholic hen party with her good friend that is getting married this Summer. They had just got the wedding veil in Naples and the Pope was passing through the streets of Naples. As he was passing, they called out from the crowd to the Holy Father and asked if he would bless the veil. This is what happened. The girls are delighted and what a lovely thing to do for the promotion of the Catholic sacrament of matrimony;

Yesterday, we introduced you to our newest addition, Bumpy the orphaned hippo. This was his flight down to Kaluku. He was a perfect passenger – he scrambled right into Keeper Joseph's lap and spent most of the trip chattering in little hippo grunts! Bumpy is very new to the fold – he was rescued over the weekend. His mother appears to have died in a territorial fight, likely defending her baby's life. Now, Bumpy has a family with us and a wild future ahead. Before the fight, during the walkout, and throughout the fight, Song never showed an inch of fear. He was even smiling the whole time in the cage. It was clear as day that he was going to do it, especially at home. He probably secured himself a title shot today.

So, even though the doctors were initially opposed, he was allowed to have his Golden Retriever with him. At first, it was only for short periods, but later—seeing the child's improvement—the dog was allowed to stay with him constantly. Now he is recovering and happy, and he can't wait to go home and play with his dog.
