.nick wright makes such a good point here regarding Dirk and Luka. There’s a message being sent here by the only unimpeachable person adjacent to this saga that we have

Literally the only way the Adelsons could repair the damage at this point would be to fire Nico and hire Dirk as his replacement. I don’t know if Dirk would want that job, but feels like the only path that doesn’t lead to oblivion at this point.
