He didn’t have a “super team” last year and still was the ~8th best qb in the league. The defense was 4th worst and that’s why the season was bad.

His persona aside, there is a a logic to not basing the next QB up's contract on obvious overpays that happened the year before. IMO, Brock is more valuable than Tua or Trevor or Jordan Love, the question is, what are those three actually worth? At least think that one out.
