Nick Wright says there should be some real accountability within the media, for all the absolute atrocious LeBron James takes: “ There weren’t even hot takes, there was just the accepted conventional wisdom throughout the course of this year. Going into the season, LeBron contract sure is a Albatros for the Lakers even though if he would have taken the league minimum it wouldn’t have open up hardly any cap space. But set the cap part aside, they was just like no, he’s not worth max level player any more. If anybody out here said LeBron worth the max, they would be laughed at. Now the games matter does he look like he’s worth the max? All year long the conventional wisdom, listen LeBron still good, but you know at 41 and he’s older than the other old guys. Steph, Durant, Kawhi, like you know, those guys are still top 10 players in the league, All-NBA caliber players which by the way Steph and Kawhi were. LeBron is in a different place in his career. What are those guys doing right now? Steph having the time of his life at Coachella after playing poorly in a play-in game.
