Because an activist MVP voter that writes for the NBA, moved Wembanyama to #1 on his list, after campaigning for the award. Not for his play, but because of an embarrassing speech he gave to the media. So we ignore the historic month that Luka Doncic just had to make the MVP race about THIS.
