Nick Wright says there should be some real accountability within the media, for all the absolute atrocious LeBron James takes: “ There weren’t even hot takes, there was just the accepted conventional wisdom throughout the course of this year. Going into the season, LeBron contract sure is a Albatros for the Lakers even though if he would have taken the league minimum it wouldn’t have open up hardly any cap space. But set the cap part aside, they was just like no, he’s not worth max level player any more. If anybody out here said LeBron worth the max, they would be laughed at. Now the games matter does he look like he’s worth the max? All year long the conventional wisdom, listen LeBron still good, but you know at 41 and he’s older than the other old guys. Steph, Durant, Kawhi, like you know, those guys are still top 10 players in the league, All-NBA caliber players which by the way Steph and Kawhi were. LeBron is in a different place in his career. What are those guys doing right now? Steph having the time of his life at Coachella after playing poorly in a play-in game. Kawhi is doing whatever he’s doing after being locked up in a play-in game, Kevin Durant is I don’t know struggling to find ways just to get shots up against a not great Lakers defense while LeBron is giving you 24,8,10 and setting up Luke Kennard, Marcus Smart, Rui Hachimura and Deandre Ayton for the exact shots on the exact spot on the court they want to be.” (Via What’s Wright? with Nick Wright)

Terry Crews is not a pedophile, but another victim of sexual assault at the hands of powerful hollywood figures. Terry Crews was sexually assaulted by a Hollywood Executive at a function on 2016. An unnamed male executive grabbed his genitals in front of his wife and grinned like a jerk at their shocked response. The assault lasted only minutes, but what he was effectively telling Crews while he held his genitals in his hand was that he held the power. That he was in control. He said that he was tempted to retaliate, but was worried how the incident would be reported and feared he would go to jail. He thought, 240 lbs Black Man stomps out Hollywood Honcho would be the headline the next day if he did. When Crews told his story, the social media monster started to rear its ugly head. “Why didn’t he fight back against his assailant?” “What else are his muscles useful for?” “A man, a victim of sexual assault? How hilarious!” Not only from members of the public, but from other big name stars. Rapper 50 cent proceeded to mock Crews experience with a tiring meme on Instagram. Crews said the executive later called to apologise, but did not give a reason for his actions. Crews chose not to publicise the incident for fear of being ridiculed, which is par for the course when the predator has power and influence. Terry said his experience had helped him understand and empathize with those who have remained silent, but Harvey Weinstein is not the only perpetrator. Crews also expressed hope that, by making his experience public, he would deter a predator and encourage someone who feels hopeless. He spoke more on why he didn't do anything at the time. He stated, as a black man in America, you only have a few shots at success, you only have a few chances to make yourself a viable member of the community. Crews is from Flint, Michigan who had seen many young black men who were provoked into violence and they were in prison or they were killed. As he shared his story, he was told over and over that this was not abuse. This was just a joke or just horseplay. One man’s horseplay is another man’s humiliation and he chose to tell his story and share his experience to stand in solidarity with millions of other survivors around the world. Crews even made a series of tweets about what happened in 2017 in a 9 part series of posts. Growing up, Terry Crews watched his father violently abuse his mother using power and authority to dominate her. As he grew up, this thought transformed the type of man he became.

The cost of energy is skyrocketing because Bowen’s bowl of spaghetti energy transition is an epic fail. As his cultural sensitivity mask crashes to the floor. I challenged Chris Bowen in McMahon for many reasons. Chief among them, I don’t believe he represents most of the people in his seat. There is no better caricature of the scale of the misalignment than his giving an acknowledgement of country in Dubai -at COP 28. Not only did his electorate vote a resounding “no” to the referendum, it also doesn’t prioritise climate action over cheap and reliable energy. In fact, the seat is highly damaged by the feckless and fruitless energy policies of the Albanese government. Especially the rapidly rising cost of electricity. The seat is about as far removed from the COP 28 brigade demographically, as Dubai is from Blacktown geographically. Yet Bowen fits right in at COP. As he acknowledges all the worlds traditional custodians on foreign soil to a crowd almost as confused by this as he is with his portfolio. An empty virtue signal – just like COP 28. Filled with pretence and hollow promise, he comes from the side of politics that wears their so-called cultural sensitivities as a bravery medal. I think it is all empty spin personally. Helpfully, Bowen proves this pretence to be as empty as his pasta bowl in the Holy Mass. You would be forgiven for thinking that the majority of McMahon are empty suits, taking junkets to greenwash the grid with broken systems – to enrich the grifting global 0.1%. But no. The majority of McMahon are hard-working people of faith. The largest religious community in McMahon are in fact Roman Catholics. Followed by Protestants. One of the things that people seem to miss about seats like McMahon, is that they are mostly people of faith and community. Most of them common-sense folk, who just want a fair go. Bowen treats the electorate with contempt. He tries his best to bribe off this community group or that, mostly in Fairfield, in the hope that together with the base Labor vote and small Green fringe it will carry him home. So, he sits in a Mass, during communion and eats a bowl of pasta. I don’t believe it was his first Mass. He also knows not to eat during the service. I assure you, there is no way he would have sat in a Chaldean Mass at Christmas and ate a bowl of Pacha. Because he understands precisely what that would rightly do to his community standing. The fact that he sat in a catholic mass eating a bowl of food while talking to his mates, demonstrates his utter contempt for the largest faith group in his community. He probably doesn’t understand the deep connections between the beliefs of that group and those he spends his time trying to impress. I don’t think Bowen is a talented minister, I think he has presided over the most destructive period in industrial Australia, since industry. I also think he has no belief beyond his own self-promotion. He demonstrates this with things like his insincere and ridiculous international acknowledgement of country - juxtaposed against his utter contempt for those of catholic faith in McMahon. He apparently denies knowledge of his surroundings as he sucked on his spaghetti – nonsense - Bowen, must come clean. He must admit he has no real cultural sensitivity and that all the rest of his pretence is nothing more than a rouge. That and the fact that he is directly responsible for the rapid increase in the cost of energy and his idiotic blind transition to renewables – as the world is walking away. Surely, we can do better. We must. I just want Australia back.

CNN’s John Miller tells Jake Tapper in the 6pm hour that it’s now clear the Minneapolis Catholic school shooter did not have “a specific motive” and there “won’t” ever “be a specific motive” because his “manifesto” was “kind of rambling” and “hate[d] everybody”.... “Well, looking through the manifesto, that's a lot of pages. Kind of rambling. A lot of it is his self pity for how his life is going, that he has been depressed for a long time, that he has been planning to do this for a long time, that he knows it's wrong, that he knows his friends are going to hate him for it, that he knows he's going to take his own life at the end of it. He said it was better to die standing up than kneeling down for all the injustices he appears to believe he has suffered during his life. This is not foreign territory for us. Basically, I look at this guy and I know this guy because we've seen this guy before. He has written messages all over his rifles to homages to the New Zealand shooter who killed 51 Muslims in mosques while they were praying to the Norway shooter who killed children in — in a camp. And — and is as known as the biggest body count, very much like what we saw among the Buffalo shooter. These are individuals who, you know, we look for that specific motive. There won't be a specific motive. He's got problems in his life. He has decided to blame everybody else. He has anti-black messages, anti-Semitic messages, anti-religious messages, anti-God messages. In other words, his motive is he hates everybody because his life's a mess. And he figures it's not his fault.”
