I'm here to support the fighters. I'm here to support boxing as a whole. Anytime I get to support boxing or fighters, absolutely. I will never shy away from that. I gotta give it to Nick Khan. I even gotta give it to Zuffa. They put me on the broadcast. They didn't give me any talking points. They didn't hint at, 'You gotta say this. We want you to do this.' I respect that. They gave me that platform, and even on that platform, I spoke somewhat against Zuffa. I was just being honest. I'm here for boxing. That's just the truth."

UFC monopolizing the MMA industry is the only reason the sport has seen success. If you want to see fighters represent 9 promotions, holding 9 arbitrary belts, go watch boxing. Blaming the UFC for their success as a promotion is like blaming the NFL for monopolizing football.

Nico Ali Walsh says senators have confirmed Zuffa Boxing's proposed Ali Revival Act will not pass in its current form: "This is a huge win for us... It is not going to pass as the Revival Act. It's going to pass as something else, but now we're able to implement the changes we felt were necessary to better the sport of boxing and, of course, protect the fighters."

There are 4 major entities that are affected by the Paramount x UFC deal - Paramount, UFC, the fans, and the fighters. It appears to be a huge win for Paramount, UFC, and the fans. The fighters, in my opinion, seem to be the big losers. Will their base pay go up? Is the introductory pay going up? Are we getting rid of the show-win model as a result? Are the performance bonuses now going to be 100K? What becomes of the champions with pay-per-view points?

We're building this from the ground up, with up and coming fighters and fighters who want to redeem their records. Maybe they had a good stint in the UFC for a while and they want to be a part of something that's growing." Harrison Rogers shares his model for UFL.
