"Vampire's Kiss was a little movie I made where I was able to explore my more abstract dreams with film performance," Cage explained. "I was sadly playing a character who was losing his mind, but he was beginning to think that he was the vampire from the original Nosferatu movie… So I got to act like a German expressionistic silent movie star, and that was cool."🫡🫡🫡🫡

" That can't happen. To do what I do in cinema has been like a guardian angel for me, and I need it," he said. "I'm healthier when I'm working, I need a positive place to express my life experience, and filmmaking has given me that. So I'm never going to retire."

In the heart of the jungle, surrounded by lush vegetation, lies one of the major sites of Mayan civilization, inhabited from 6th Century BC to 10th Century AD. The ceremonial centre contains superb temples and palaces, and public squares accessed by means of ramps. Remains of dwellings are scattered throughout the surrounding countryside. Tikal National Park is located in Northern Guatemala's Petén Province within a large forest region often referred to as the Maya Forest, which extends into neighbouring Mexico and Belize.

1964, Academy Award-winning actor Nicolas Cage was born. In light of his 50th birthday, NewsFeed has rounded up 50 facts you maybe didn’t know about the movie star. • He was born Nicolas Coppola and told The Huffington Post in 2012 that he decided to change his last name after actors on the set of his first movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) resented him because his uncle is the renowned director Francis Ford Coppola (and his aunt is actress Talia Shire). (Most of his role in that film ended up getting cut.) (The Huffington Post) 🌍🌍🌍

Cage was born Nicolas Kim Coppola. He changed his last name to avoid the appearance of nepotism, as he is the nephew of famous director Francis Ford Coppola. He took his stage name “Cage” from the Marvel Comics character Luke Cage. He is a massive Superman fan. He even named his son Kal-El, after Superman’s birth name.

When Nicholas Cage took on the title role in 2007's Ghost Rider, no one expected that flaming skull to be his actual skull. One could forgive Cage for allowing the CGI and special effects teams to create the supernatural superhero from scratch. However, Cage and the crew used techniques to allow him to truly get into the Rider's head... in more morbid ways than one. 👍👍👍👍👍
