Nicolas Jackson has MASSIVE, GLARING issues with his technique when striking a ball. — balance — foot placement — follow through — point of contact Issues prevalent on his strong foot but at an amateur level on his weaker foot. 18 year old Guiu has 10x the fundamentals.

Daniel Sturridge and the MNF boys analysed this more than a year ago & it’s still hasn’t been addressed. Massively hamstrings Jackson when he can’t finish any ball that drops on the left half of his body.

Also, it looks like he genuinely doesn’t enjoy finishing? Almost like his body is rejecting this practice. (of course this is out of context)

It's almost like one of them played for one of the best academy's in the world and the other started playing 3 years ago

That’s what happens when Guiu comes from Barca’s academy at 5 years old and Jackson was in Senegal until he was like 16. Development is very different

I think Jackson is a winger, he doesn’t have the killer instinct of a striker which is the most basic aspect of being a striker.

To be honest, I’m in the school of thought that progress in a player is never linear. I also believe that technical flaws that are unearthed after a player is an established pro.. are unfixable. Listen to Arsene Wenger explain this theory.
