They keep saying we’re on the brink of a recession, but the CEO of Chevron says, “No, we’re not… we’re not even close.” They said the world was going to side with China, and China was going to eat our lunch. So why are countries flying here to do deals with us? They said we couldn’t just “shut down the border” without Congress. That was a lie—he did it. Trump is the first president in 40 years to cut waste, fraud, and abuse. Democrats are jealous that he’s doing things they ran on and never did. PDaniel could have used better words to express himself in that podcast, but to totally dismiss him and crucify him will be very unfair. I was privileged to have a chat with him, he did mentioned those things were said as a response to a question asked by someone in their ministry going through the same phase in their marriage. The incident happened in their third year of marriage, they are now in year seven! His words were the actual events that happened, it doesn’t mean he is advocating that it’s the best thing to do or how to handle such situations in your marriage. He was only saying things as it actually happened which does not necessarily mean that’s how he will handle same situation now. Like I mentioned to him, X(Twitter) is primarily an agenda platform, bcs tell me why people are already making injunctions and conclusions about how Pastors handle their marriage. We have all done and continue to do things we are not proud of and the best thing we can do is to continue to grow and be better versions of ourselves. Pastoral life is not easy, that side of their story should not have been made public or at best, not communicated in the ways and manners he did. However, pastor often employ every manner of strategies to drive home their points in order to bless their congregation, occasionally, they will goof in the process. Ultimately, the incident did not break them. They are together still doing the ministry God committed in their care. It’s a story of a stage in their journey, not their current reality.

Were their ancestors cowards? This young man from Ika asks. In my humble opinion, I don’t think they were cowards! They did what they needed to do to survive. I remember, people like Stella Damasus changing their surnames. Jim Ovia, and many more did the same! But this is 2026, they should be bold enough to do the honorable work. Non-Igbo people can never understand what happened to Ndi Igbo, not just during the war, but the post war. Post war policies, actions, and treatment from the federal government were much more dangerous and damaging than the war itself. One day, gradually, these things will become a history.
